BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 19% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Seattle Mariners shortstop Dylan Moore has looked like a new man so far this young season. Through his first nine games, Moore was slashing .333/.353/.636 with two home runs, four RBI and seven runs. He began the year hitting in the lower third of the team's lineup, but manager Scott Servais quickly changed that as Moore went on to lead off on August 3, then hit second in the order in two of the team's next three games.
Moore's gaudy .636 slugging percentage is backed up by some power peripherals. Through nine games, he was ranking amongst the top 10% of the league in barrel-rate (20.8%), exit velocity (93.7) and hard-hit rate (54.2%).
In 113 games with the Mariners last year, Moore slugged just .389 with nine home runs. Those numbers, unfortunately, line up a lot closer to his minor league track record than this year's power surge does. However, in a shortened season, hot streaks make up an even larger percentage of the year and Moore is worth adding in leagues of 12 teams or larger for anyone who has a spot to fill in their lineup. With Moore's positional versatility, owners shouldn't have any problem making room for him.
