ANALYSIS: Of course you won't believe this, because you won't, but I swear it is as true as it is you're reading it: Dwayne Bacon of all men has scored the 35th-most points in May through Friday. Seriosly. He's scored more points than the likes of Anthony Davis, Kelly Olynyk, Khris Middleton, and Karl-Anthony Towns. No joke, folks.

Go Premium, Win More!Bacon's started four straight and 9 of the last 10 games for Orlando, is averaging almost 31 MPG, is putting up a ridiculous (given the expectations) 15-3-1-1 line, and has dropped at least 20 pops in three of his part four games--and the one in which he missed on reaching the mark the truth is that he only played 23 minutes. Bacon has been just insane of late. He's rostered in barely 5% of Yahoo leagues yet returning some top-50 value easily.
With the Magic playing for nothing more than a good draft pick, and Bacon far from the best of their building blocks going forward--I mean, Orlando will draft an SG/SF with their pick almost assuredly--they will keep running him to the ground ROS and he will keep trying to produce as much as possible trying to secure his role for next season (his bag is already secured at least for one more year). I wouldn't have bet on Bacon getting to this level of play, but this is a Bacon World we just happen to live in.
