BALLER MOVE: Add in 10+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 59% of leagues
ANALYSIS: A lot of stuff going on here, so let's break it down a bit so you get the proper information to assess this add/pass decision. I'm writing this post just hours after Miami played against Washington on Saturday and Duncan Robinson had to leave the game earlier with a right knee contussion. That means that he could miss time--or not. We don't have any sort of report yet, so keep an eye on that development. On top of that, Jimmy Butler came back to basketball courts last Wednesday and although that didn't move D-Rob to the pine it forced him back to the SG position.
Robinson is an actual, bona fide SG by nature, so that's not concerning. What is worrying, though, is the fact that his 13+ FGA per game are now over with Jimmer commanding a bunch of shots himself once more now that he's available. Rob (assuming he's healthy and doesn't miss time) is still going to keep shooting his spot-attempts nightly and getting an average of around 8-to-10 tries a day. Not bad, if you ask me, plus he's a lock to keep starting games while logging 25+ minutes without a doubt.
If Robison is forced to miss some time, that might be good news for fantasy GMs out there lacking options and looking for solutions, too. That's because D-Rob's rostership is nearing 60% as I'm writing this but an injury will make that share drop below 50% most probably than not, thus affording fantasy players to make a ROS move by adding Robinson. In other words: add the Heat-man, wait, and reap the rewards no matter what.
