BALLER MOVE: Add in Very Deep Leagues, NL-Only Leagues
ANALYSIS: Drew Stubbs has been a very frustrating player over the past four seasons, and has tormented me more than once after drafting him or grabbing him off the waiver wire. He has such great talent, and has been on many people's list of sleepers, because in any season seeing him hit 25 home runs or steal 25 bases would not be strange. He strikes out a ton and doesn't take walks. Much like Mark Reynolds he can lead the league in strikeouts any season given the number at bats. This season Stubbs has gotten off to a very good start batting .330, with three home runs, and six stolen bases. He hasn't proven to be the kind of player who can sustain long hot crazy streaks, so I find it tough to rationalize picking him up on many formats. At the end of the season, you may look at his numbers and wonder why he was a free agent, but once he is on your team you will realize quickly why he lives on the wire. If he were playing every day this would be a different story, but based on all these factors you should only add him in the deepest of leagues for now.
