BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 20% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Somehow, for some reason, Drew Lock keeps flying under the radar all around the Yahoo! landscape. Lock is still available in four of each five fantasy leagues out there, which makes no sense at all. While Lock finished his first three games out of the QB2-realm (he had to leave W2 early, though), he's been a QB2 in his last three games and has now finished as a QB1 performer two games in a row. He's scored 20.8 and a season-high 30.2 FP in those two matches.
Lock could only reach a measly 4.5 FP against New England's stout defense, but when he faced Kansas City (7th-best D against fantasy QBs) he already did nicely (15 FP), and then he basically went on to shred both the Chargers (won) and the Falcons (lost) in Weeks 8 and 9 respectively. In those last two games, Lock has passed for at least 248 yards (561 combined), two TDs (five combined), and limited his picks to one in each game. Not only that but this past Sunday Lock also rushed the ball 7 times for 47 yards and an extra score on the ground. Sweet return.
While the Broncos are going nowhere this season, Lock is making the most of his receiving corps. That's no small task, considering how multiple players have been injured for part of the season. It's been three games in a row with 248+ yards for Lock, and four over the full season. Lock has limited his interceptions as of late too and has finally found his TD-throwing rhythm in the past couple of weekends.
Denver has already gone on a bye and will face three below-average defenses at stopping QBs, so Lock looks like a must-add-and-start in any 14+ team league and a decent streamer in shallower formats, at least until Week 13 (Kansas City, 7th-best defense against QBs).
If you have room to keep him in your roster ROS, that sounds like a good idea even with that KC matchup coming. Denver will face the 11th, 17th, and 24th best defenses against fantasy QBs during the fantasy playoffs.
