Hello RotoBallers and thanks for joining me for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am! My name is Tommy Bell, and in this article you will find my favorite DraftKings DFS value plays for this week's PGA tournament. You can find me on Twitter for all things PGA banter @BellRoto. Give me a follow!
It can be tough to define "value" and that task is made tough because the makeup of each PGA slate is different, which makes it difficult to put a concrete DFS price on what exactly "value" is. So, this article will regularly include plays that are obviously great salary savers, but may also include plays that are "underpriced" or stick out as a great value when compared to their form, course history, or other players in the field.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Value Play Notes
Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed a great Sunday filled with impressive golf shots and a fantastic Super Bowl game. If only every Sunday was that sports-oriented. This week we get another Pro-Am event that has pro golfers playing alongside celebrities for three days on three separate tracks, before the top 60 pros will play Pebble beach once more on Sunday. Along with the focus on approach/wedge play and Poa putting success, we also have to keep in mind that patience is a virtue for these players, as rounds will last much longer playing with amateur celebrities.
You can find out who the smart money is on by checking out Spencer Aguiar's PGA DFS: Vegas Report every week. And be sure to also read all of our other top-notch weekly PGA DFS and betting articles to help you win big!
Russell Knox - DraftKings: $8,600
Knox checks all of the boxes and is about as safe as they come to play through the weekend (cue triple-bogey on Saturday to miss the cut). He's in great form, and on a small, iron-friendly track like this, he has the upside to take the tournament down. That's what we like to see at this mid-8k price tag. I'll have a LOT of Knox in my lineups.
Kevin Kisner - DraftKings: $8,500
When it comes to short tracks where second shots dictate winners, I always love targeting Kevin Kisner. The one downside of his game this week is that he is verbally more comfortable on Bermuda greens in the southeast than this Poa stuff. Even still, he's one of the most consistent putters on tour, and I'll take his irons up against most other golfers in this field. Give me some Kiz.
Scott Piercy - DraftKings: $7,800
Piercy comes in as a fantastic-looking mid-priced option based on his strong course history and great recent form. He seems to play really well when he's hot, and disappear when he's not. After T-6 last week at the Waste Management, I'm gonna ride Piercy in what appears to be a balanced lineup type of week.
Jimmy Walker - DraftKings: $7,200
When it comes to West Coast golfers, Jimmy Walker is exactly what you're looking for. His name always comes up around this time of year when he's making cuts and playing well into the weekend in these Cali events. He's always a bit of a risk based on health issues unrelated to golf, but he's a fantastic iron player who's very comfortable on this track. He may be popular, but I think it's for good reason this week.
Cameron Tringale - DraftKings: $7,000
I normally don't fall for the positive, usually empty stats that come from Tringale's performances, but when he's guaranteed three rounds I'm a little more interested. All we need him to do is make the cut on Saturday for this play to work out, because he's a great approach player. There's also plenty of upside for those strokes gained on approach stats to finally wield some good results. I think Tringale is a great bargain bin option this week.
