The Las Vegas Summer League is in full swing as every team has played at least one game and now we're onto the second look for some of these prospects. We're also entering the muddy waters of the better players getting more rest and the fringe prospects seeing more opportunities, which can make it hard to put together some DFS lineups.
Usually, we would mention Scoot Henderson since he's slated to play against Victor Wembanyama, but he has been ruled out due to the shoulder injury he picked up in their last game. On top of that, Wembanyama was reported to be limited during these Summer League games so that it doesn't jeopardize his rookie season. So, if he does play, he'll be one of the most rostered players of the night, but DFS managers should be cautious.
This article will highlight some DraftKings NBA Summer League daily fantasy options to consider for Saturday, July 9, 2023. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
JD Davison, PG - BOS @ WAS ($9,300)
Davison is participating in his second year of Summer League as he continues to try to make it onto the main roster. He appeared in 12 games for the Celtics last year and played 26 games for their G League affiliate. Throughout the G League season, the 20-year-old averaged 12.5 points, 8.7 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 50.4% from the floor.
He's proven to be one of the best playmakers and distributors in this year's summer league. Davison collected 14 points, 11 assists, four rebounds, and two steals in their first game against the Heat on Saturday. He should be able to do much of the same against Washington.
Julian Champagnie, SG - SAS @ POR ($8,400)
Anyone on the Spurs without the name Wembanyama is going to be overlooked this offseason. Champagnie is not an exception even though he should be. So far, he's been cashing in a great summer and posted the best stat line among his teammates in their first matchup against the Hornets.
The 22-year-old is averaging 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game in three games this summer and his value will only increase if Wembanyama does get a rest day. To make things even better, Champagnie and Malaki Branham seem to have built good backcourt chemistry together.
Gui Santos, SG/SF - GSW vs NOP ($6,600)
Santos has been hanging around on the Warriors' summer league rosters since last year and has seen some big improvement this time around. He has yet to make enough noise for a two-way contract after he was the 57th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
This offseason, however, he's averaged north of 20 points and five rebounds per game across the two games from the Sacramento summer league and their first game in the Vegas iteration. Other than Brandin Podziemski, the rest of the roster is fighting and clawing for contracts and Santos is likely to be one of the next best players out of this crop of Warriors prospects.
Also Consider: Jordan Hawkins ($9,100), Johnny Davis ($8,800), Brandin Podziemski ($7,400), Jay Scrubb ($7,000), Tyson Etienne ($6,900)

DraftKings Forwards/Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Dyson Daniels, SF - NO @ GS ($10,200)
Daniels is one of the few players that has enough experience in the NBA and doesn't truly need to be playing in the summer league. He played in 59 games for the Pelicans and started in 11 of them while averaging 3.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
In his first game in Vegas, Daniels led the team with 18 points and added five rebounds, three assists, four steals, and a block. Against the weaker front court of Golden State, the 20-year-old is likely to put up a very good stat line.
Shaedon Sharpe, PF/C - POR vs SAS ($9,500)
Scoot Henderson has been ruled out and Sharpe has already shown the basketball world that he belongs in the league. That's an equation for a very big game on Sunday when Sharpe takes on the Spurs and will want to prove himself even further if Wembanyama plays.
The rising second-year player has showcased his athleticism and explosiveness all year long and already did the same during their first summer league game when he nearly dunked from the free-throw line. Draft Kings is currently listing him as a power forward and center when he normally plays on the wing. DFS managers should take advantage of that with a shallow pool of forwards for this later slate.
Jordan Walsh, SF - BOS @ WAS ($6,300)
Selected 38th overall this summer, Walsh is one of the few second-round picks that have already signed a contract. He has done nothing but impress the coaches and front office so far and his first bit of Vegas action went better than anyone expected.
Walsh is already known for his defensive prowess, but he also led the team in scoring with 18 points after hitting four of his six threes on Saturday. He also contributed five rebounds, two steals, and one block. In these summer league games, there's going to be a lot more sloppy basketball than usual, so a player like Walsh is going to capitalize on that every time.
Also Consider: Julian Strawther ($7,600), Brady Manek ($7,100), Peyton Watson ($6,800), Kyle Alexander ($6,700), EJ Liddell ($5,800), Kris Murray ($5,500)
