We have another dozen games in the main tournament on DraftKings today. The marquee game between Texas and Michigan will be much better to watch than to use for DFS. K-State heads to N'awlins to take on Tulane. Arkansas is in Stillwater to take on the Pokes. Pitt is in Cincy to take on the Bearcats. Penn State gets to tune up Bowling Green. Georgia Tech heads up to the Loud House to take on Syracuse.
The other half of the slate are all 3:30 kickoffs. Cal heads out on the plains to take on Auburn. South Carolina is in Lexington to take on Kentucky. We have the battle for the CyHawk in Iowa City. Baylor heads out to Utah in a new Big 12 (14) conference game. Northern Illinois heads east to South Bend to take on the Irish. The last one takes Michigan State over to College Park to take on the Terrapins.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/7/24, locking at noon EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Kyle McCord, Syracuse ($8.4K)
? 354 Pass Yards

McCord's debut in Orange went well. He had his moments of inaccuracy, but overall, it was a strong performance. He's going to need another if the Orange are going to topple the Bees in this one. The Georgia Tech defensive line has been impressive in both games. McCord has performed in pressure situations before.
Brendan Sorsby, Cincinnati ($8K)
Cincinnati struggled to put away Towson, which resulted in Sorsby having a nice stat line. The Indiana transfer threw for 383 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The two touchdowns on the ground can't be counted on again, but I feel like that's baked into the price.
Pitt's offense put up some big numbers last week. We could see a rather high-scoring game in the Queen City, making it a DFS gold mine. Both QBs are a good play in this one.
Eli Holstein, Pittsburgh ($6.5K)
We saw a predictable price hike on Holstein, and rightfully so. This is another good matchup for Pitt. The Cincinnati defense left a lot to be desired last week. Nate Yarnell is still going to be in the game during certain situations, but that's a fact of life around college football right now. Holstein will still be in the game most of the time.
Rocco Becht, Iowa State ($6.1K)
North Dakota took away the run game in Week 1. Iowa will do the same. The Hawkeyes will make Becht beat them...and he's good enough to do it.
Also consider: Riley Leonard, Notre Dame ($8.6K); Taylen Green, Arkansas ($7.5K); Fernando Mendoza, California ($6.7K); Billy Edwards Jr., Maryland ($6.5K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Ollie Gordon II, Oklahoma State ($9.6K)
We've seen this trick before. Arkansas had one of the best run defenses in the nation last year before SEC play began. This year, the Piggies have to play a good team before conference play begins. UAPB ran for just seven yards on 23 carries in the opener. If Gordon gets 23 carries in this one, he might hit 200 rushing yards.

Jamal Haynes, Georgia Tech ($6.9K)
Haynes has had two solid games, fueled by three touchdowns in those two games. He could have a monster here. Syracuse allowed 262 rushing yards (including 203 to Anthony Tyus III) to Ohio in the opener. Not Ohio State...Ohio. Haynes might have the highest upside on the entire slate.
Desmond Reid, Pittsburgh ($5.9K)

With the news that Rodney Hammond Jr. is ineligible this season, we may not see Reid returning many more punts. However, he'll still get plenty of carries. Cincinnati allowed a staggering 190 yards rushing to Towson. The Bearcats are in a lot of trouble with Reid today.
Kay'Ron Lynch-Adams, Michigan State ($4.5K)
The UMass transfer was far better than incumbent Nate Carter in the opener. Judging by Sparty's inability to pass the ball in the opener, I feel like they'll run more in this game. It would also serve to keep the ball away from the explosive Maryland offense. Even if Carter and Lynch-Adams split carries, Lynch-Adams is still a nice value at this price.
Also consider: LeQuint Allen, Syracuse ($7K); Nicholas Singleton, Penn State ($6.7K); Demie Sumo-Karngbaye, Kentucky ($6.2K); Ja'Quinden Jackson, Arkansas (5.2K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Colston Loveland, Michigan ($6.7K)
If you have a struggling quarterback (or two), their best friend is going to be their tight end. That was true in Michigan's opener. Loveland hauled in eight passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. Expect Loveland to see a lot of balls flying his way again.
Brant Kuithe, Utah ($6.3K)
That's right...two tight ends at the top of the receiver rankings. Kuithe is Cam Rising's most favorite target, just as he was when they last played together in 2022. Baylor's defense looked good in the opener, but Rising looked to Kuithe first and foremost in the passing game. He might have the best floor of any receiver on the slate.
Malik Rutherford, Georgia Tech ($5.5K)
Rutherford has 197 yards in two games already. Georgia Tech will spread it around some, but Rutherford is the most explosive playmaker in this offense. He won't go dormant for long.
I mean, could he get more open?

Oronde Gadsden II, Syracuse ($5K)
Three tight ends? Oh, the humanity! Gadsden was the guy who McCord looked to more than anyone else. Gadsden looks more like a tall receiver than a tight end, but we don't care. We're just after the most targeted player on the field. That would be Gadsden.
Also consider: Isaiah Bond, Texas ($6.8K); Xzavier Henderson, Cincinnati ($6.5K); Harrison Wallace III, Penn State ($5.8K); Tai Felton, Maryland ($5.4K); Jaylin Noel, Iowa State ($5.2K); Kenny Johnson, Pittsburgh ($4.4K); Reece Vander Zee, Iowa ($3.5K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Georgia Tech
The Syracuse defense gave up a lot of big plays, particularly on the ground. I prefer a King/Haynes/Rutherford stack. Eric Singleton Jr. isn't a bad play either. I prefer the big-play ability of Rutherford.
Penn State
This isn't going to be a close game, but Drew Allar, Singleton, and Wallace can do a whole lot of damage before they tap out.
Also consider: Syracuse, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh
