DraftKings has broken the day up into two slates, and both of them have enough games to be played. The early slate is certainly small, but we can construct lineups for it. The later slate is the one that should be focused on, but this article will contain picks from both of the slates.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/8/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Houston Astros vs Jason Hammel
The Astros have been one of the best offenses in the MLB this season, and they have been on fire over the last week. Over that span, they are hitting over .300 as a team to go along with great power. They get a good matchup against Hammel tonight, and he has struggled this season with a 5.93 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP. The Astros are currently -185 favorites in a game set at 9 runs. They can be stacked in all leagues.
Detroit Tigers vs J.C. Ramirez
The Tigers are another offense that has been heating up recently. They're hitting over .300 over the last week, and they also come with decent power. They have been a significantly better offense at home this season, as well. They get a good matchup against J.C. Ramirez, who enters the game with a 4.07 ERA. The Tigers are a -140 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, and they're a high upside stacking option tonight.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Lance McCullers - at KC ($11,200)
McCullers is expected to draw the start tonight, but Dallas Keuchel was scratched last night and it isn't out of the question that he starts tonight. McCullers has been enjoying an elite season, though, as he has brings a 6-1 record, 2.71 ERA, and 10.5 K/9 to this game. He gets a solid matchup against the Royals, who McCullers has thrown well against earlier this season. He can be used in all leagues tonight.
Michael Pineda - vs BOS ($8,900)
Pineda has had a few ups and downs this season, but he has looked outstanding at home. Through six starts in New York, he has a 5-1 record with a 2.31 ERA and a 9.9 K/9. He gets a tough matchup against the Red Sox, but he has thrown well against a few good offenses at home this season. He's a -115 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, and Pineda is a high upside option.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
Alex Avila - vs LAA ($3,600)
Avila continues to play well, as he's hitting over .300 with good power for his position on the season. He's also hitting over .400 at home this season. He gets a good matchup against J.C. Ramirez, and Avila has been a fairly consistent option with great upside over his last 10 games. He can be used in all leagues tonight.
First Base (1B)
Wil Myers - at ARI ($4,100)
Myers has been struggling a bit recently, but he's a player that has a good combination of speed and power. He has been a better hitter on the road this season, and he gets a good matchup against Patrick Corbin in an extremely hitter friendly stadium. Myers comes with a small amount of risk, but he can be used in all leagues because of the situation he's in.
Second Base (2B)
Daniel Robertson - vs CWS ($2,800)
Robertson has been playing well recently, as he has a solid OBP and comes with decent power. He has dominated left-handed pitching, and he's expected to draw the start against Derek Holland. Robertson still comes with an extremely low price tag, and he has been playing well enough to be considered in all leagues.
Shortstop (SS)
Zack Cozart - vs STL ($4,700)
Cozart has been one of the best shortstops in the MLB this season, and he's hitting over .400 with tremendous power over his last 10 games. He has also been a much better hitter at home this season, and he gets a good matchup against Mike Leake today. He is an extremely consistent player, but also comes with undeniable upside, and he can be used in all leagues.
Third Base (3B)
Matt Davidson - at TB ($2,900)
Davidson isn't a trustworthy player, but he has been heating up a bit recently. He has an OBP over .300 over his last 10 games, and he has also displayed good power over that span. He has been a consistent player recently, and he gets a solid matchup against Jake Odorizzi. He can be used in all leagues for his low price tag.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
George Springer - at KC ($5,600)
Springer has been playing at an unbelievable level recently, as he's hitting well over .400 with tremendous power over his last 10 games. He's averaging more than 15 fantasy points per game over that span, and he gets a good matchup against Jason Hammel tonight. Springer isn't going to come cheap, but he makes an elite option in all leagues tonight.
Seth Smith - at WSH ($3,500)
Smith has been struggling a bit recently, but he comes with tremendous upside for his price. He gets a good matchup against Joe Ross, and Smith has found some success against the Nationals this season. He isn't the safest option on the slate, and he's best suited for tournaments tonight.
