DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Cleveland Indians vs German Marquez
The Indians will travel to Colorado tonight, which will give an added boost to their already elite offense. They also get a good matchup against Marquez, who has struggled with a 5.70 ERA and 1.39 WHIP through four home starts this season. The Indians are -113 favorites in a game set at 10.5 runs, which gives them the highest team total on the slate. They can be stacked in all leagues.
Seattle Mariners vs Hector Santiago
The Mariners have been on fire recently, as they are hitting over .350 as a team over the last week. They get a good matchup against Santiago tonight, and he has recorded a 4.77 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 1.9 HR/9 through 11 starts this season. The Mariners are huge -202 favorites, although the game is set at only 8 runs. They make a high upside stacking option on this slate.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Max Scherzer - at LAD ($13,000)
Scherzer has been enjoying an elite season, as he enters this game with a 6-3 record, 2.56 ERA, and 11.6 K/9 through 11 starts. He has also been slightly better on the road this season, and he gets a decent matchup against the Dodgers tonight. He is a -114 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs tonight. He isn't going to come cheap, but Scherzer is a great option in all leagues tonight.
James Paxton - vs MIN ($8,800)
Paxton looked great in his first game back from injury, and he has been enjoying a breakout season. Through seven starts, Paxton has a 4-0 record with a 1.26 ERA and a 10.7 K/9. He also has a ridiculous 0.35 ERA at home this season. Paxton is a huge -202 favorite in a game set at only 8 runs, and he's nearly a must start for his current price tag on this slate.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
Yan Gomes - at COL ($3,500)
Gomes has been struggling recently, but he's a powerful catcher that will gain upside from playing in Coors tonight. He's still surprisingly cheap, and he's a great way to get a salary relief option in this game. He gets a good matchup against German Marquez, and Gomes can be used in all leagues.
First Base (1B)
Yonder Alonso - vs TOR ($4,400)
Alonso has been playing at an elite level recently, as he's hitting over .350 with great power over his last 10 games. He has also been a significantly better hitter in Oakland this season, and he gets a solid matchup against Marco Estrada tonight. Alonso makes an elite option in all leagues.
Second Base (2B)
Robinson Cano - vs MIN ($4,300)
Cano has struggled to hit for a high average recently, but he continues to display good power. Even though he has struggled, Cano has a hard-hit rate of 45% over the last two weeks, and he gets a good matchup against Hector Santiago. He certainly comes with a bit of risk, but he make a good option in a Mariners stack.
Shortstop (SS)
Alcides Escobar - vs HOU ($2,000)
Escobar's price tag is a bit surprising tonight. He completely lacks upside, but he is a fairly consistent option. He gets a good matchup against David Paulino, and he is the type of player that is needed to fit Max Scherzer into your lineups. Escobar should be avoided in tournaments, but he can be used in cash games.
Third Base (3B)
Jake Lamb - vs SD ($5,100)
Lamb continues to play well, as he's a consistent player that also comes with tremendous upside. He gets a great matchup against Dinelson Lamet in a hitter friendly stadium, and Lamb enters this game with a 0.126 wOBA and 0.132 ISO differential against right-handed pitching. He can safely be used in all leagues.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Ben Gamel - vs MIN ($3,500)
Gamel has caught fire recently, as he's hitting over .400 over his last 10 games. He hasn't displayed good power over that span, but he has strung hits together for upside. He gets a great matchup against Hector Santiago, and Gamel has a great 0.109 ISO differential against left-handed pitching. He's a consistent option with elite upside, and he can be used in all leagues.
Jorge Bonifacio - vs HOU ($3,700)
Bonifacio has looked good this season, and he's hitting over .300 over his last 10 games. He also has displayed good power over that span. He gets a good matchup against David Paulino, and Bonifacio has displayed a great combination of upside and consistency this season. He's still fairly cheap, and he's a great option in all leagues.
