You guys aren't done yet, are you? You know I'm not! I live for this stuff! We still have one more slate to go for those of you insomniacs, night owls, and people on the left coast. We're still going strong!
We polish off our huge college football Saturday with some really late ones this week with Kansas State in Provo to take on BYU. From there we head to the islands as Northern Iowa takes on Hawaii.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/21/24, locking at 10:30 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Avery Johnson, Kansas State ($8.3K)
Johnson had perhaps his best collegiate game in the big win over Arizona last Friday. While his passing prowess can still leave something to be desired, Johnson doesn't make a lot of mistakes and chews up a ton of yards on the ground. He has a great floor and a strong ceiling.
A lot of people are sleeping on Avery Johnson and Kansas State ?

Aidan Dunne, Northern Iowa ($6.5K)
Dunne is very unproven and very inconsistent. So is Hawaii's defense. We know what we're getting out of the other three starting quarterbacks on this slate, so I'm taking a chance on the unknown in GPP formats. Hawaii's defense has struggled all year long. If Dunne is ever going to go off, it's here.
Also consider: Jake Retzlaff, BYU ($8K); Brayden Schager, Hawaii ($7.3K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Dylan Edwards, Kansas State ($6K)
Dylan Edwards is one of the most explosive players in the country. He’s going to be an absolute star at Kansas State. pic.twitter.com/fVkgBlJqVo

Both backs see a lot of action on this team, but I'll side with Edwards in a tough matchup for the K-State backfield. The Wildcats will get Edwards the ball in any way possible. He also returns kicks, which is just another chance for him to score. I love the upside here.
Tye Edwards, Northern Iowa ($5.2K)
Forget about Edwards being bottled up by Nebraska last week. The Children of the Corn have one of the best run defenses in college football. Focus more on the 315 yards that Edwards amassed in the first two games of the season. He'll be closer to that production tonight.
Also consider: DJ Giddens, Kansas State ($8.1K); Amauri Pesek-Hickson, Northern Iowa ($5.1K);
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Pofele Ashlock, Hawaii ($6.7K)
Ashlock has 14 receptions in just two games so far. Teams have run more on the Panthers this year than passed, but Hawaii using the short passing game as the run game much of the time. That means lots of short receptions for guys like Ashlock.
Darius Lassiter, BYU ($4.7K)
This is a tough matchup for the Cougars on both sides of the ball. Lassiter is the guy that Retzlaff looks to on those short routes that are going to be one of the few ways that BYU can move the ball in this game. I'm using Lassiter for the floor.
Brayden Loftin, Kansas State ($4.2K)
The wide receivers for K-State are the afterthoughts in this offense. The tight ends are the ones that get most of the action on the receiving end of things. Both Loftin and Will Swanson are worth using here as both are great red-zone targets.
Also consider: Chase Roberts, BYU ($6.3K); Will Swanson, Kansas State ($3.3K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Kansas State
This is one of the few slates that I don't think I'll run a full stack on. The main reason is the lack of playmakers at receiver for the Wildcats. In larger GPPs, I don't mind using one or both tight ends and running backs along with Avery Johnson.
Also consider: Northern Iowa, Hawaii
