Hey! You can't fall asleep yet! There's still college football going on and still money to be won in DFS! It's not over until WE say it is! Are you with me? Let's finish Week 8 of the last great college football season the right way! There are some really good players in action after the sun goes down!
Both of the Pac-12 (R.I.P.) games start at the same time this week. We have UCLA heading up the coast to the Bay area to take on Stanford. We close out up north in Seattle with Arizona State in town. You have to watch the Fun Devils. You may as well play them in DFS too!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/21/23, locking at 10:30 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Michael Penix, Washington ($10,600)
Penix had a season-low 302 yards passing last week. Yes, that's his season low. Fade at your own risk, especially on a small slate like this.
Trenton Bourguet, Arizona State ($5,600)
Volume is king in DFS. You have me say that all of the time. Bourguet threw 49 passes last week and 41 the week before. Washington's defense is solid, but that kind of volume out of Bourguet is going to get some good point totals no matter how good the defense is that's trying to stop him.
Also consider: Dante Moore, UCLA ($8,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Carson Steele, UCLA ($6,100)
It took the Ball State transfer some time to get used to UCLA, but he is thriving in this system now. Steele has 250 yards on 52 carries over the last two games alone. He's not splitting carries with anyone and the Bruins finally have some consistent quarterback play. That has as much to do with Steele's jump in stats as anything.
Cameron Skattebo, Arizona State ($5,300)
Skattebo does everything for the Fun Devils. He's a big part of what makes them so fun. You'll see Skattebo more out of the backfield, but he also excels as a receiver and has completed a handful of passes already this season. Arizona State always finds ways to get him the ball so I always find ways to get him in my lineups.
Also consider: Dillon Johnson, Washington ($6,600); T.J. Harden, UCLA ($4,400)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Rome Odunze, Washington ($8,000)
The Huskies have a lot of mouths to feed, but with Penix always throwing for at least 300 yards, they all get fed. Odunze might be the best route runner of the trio so I think he's worth paying up for. Jalen McMillan will take some of the work from Odunze, but as we saw in the Oregon game, Penix looks to Odunze when he needs a big play. That's going to continue no matter who is on the field.
Elic Ayomanor, Stanford ($5,800)
13 catches for 294 yards and three touchdowns is a hell of a month. Ayomanor did it in one half against the Ralphies last weekend. UCLA's defense is going to put the kibosh on that, but Ayomanor is still going to garner enough targets to hold my interest. Maybe it wasn't a fluke. At this price, it's worth it to find out.
Elijhah Badger, Arizona State ($4,900)
That volume from Bourguet all has to go somewhere. Badger hauled in a dozen passes last week for 134 yards, but he was kept out of the end zone. Despite upheaval at the QB spot for the Fun Devils, Badger has had a good season through it all. Maybe he and Bourguet began something great last week. For this price, I'm finding out!
Also consider: Ja'Lynn Polk, Washington ($6,800); Logan Loya, UCLA ($6,500); Giles Jackson, Washington ($5,000)
DraftKings CFB Stacks:
Washington
It's going to be impossible to stack every piece of this Washington offense that you want. A very contrarian play in large-field GPPs would be to fade Penix. That seems counter-productive, but a Penix fade lets you afford Dillon Johnson, Polk, Odunze, and Giles Jackson without compromising other positions. If you must choose, I'm all for throwing Jackson in as a cheaper piece. He adds another dimension to this offense.
Also consider: UCLA
