I will provide you with the best tools to succeed and the information you need to create the optimal lineups for your GPP and cash game NHL contests on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

NHL DFS Analysis and Picks for 11/10/23

Good evening! We're in for a treat tonight with an unexpectedly interesting six-game slate for a Friday night. A few teams are on a back-to-back schedule, namely the Wild and the suddenly streaking Sharks. The Panthers and Canes game is expected to be a fun one, and the Flames are in Toronto for a game that could easily see 10 goals scored. So, let's dive in and find some under-the-radar plays and must-have picks for your lineups tonight.

DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks

Filip Gustavsson- DK $7.4K || FD $7.5K

Opponent - Buffalo Sabres

My recommendation is to start building your lineup with the stacks you prefer. Then, you can look for goalie options that fit into your build. In my experience, it's best to opt for cheaper goalies who will be facing popular teams that are expected to take a lot of shots. However, it's important to keep in mind that there's a lot of variance when it comes to goaltenders. Last night, for instance, Louis Domingue, who hadn't started a game since 2019, put up 20 fantasy points for the Rangers, demonstrating just how unpredictable the position can be.

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks

William Karlsson - DK $5.1K || FD $6.6K

Opponent - San Jose Sharks

Wild Bill, as he is known in the NHL, has had a great start to the season for the defending champions. He has scored 7 goals and made 7 assists in the first 14 games while playing on the third line for Vegas. I believe he is a great pick for tonight's game for several reasons, but mainly because he leads the NHL in 5v5 points. This statistic caught my attention since my entire process is focused on 5v5 scoring. While many people are obsessed with Power Play stacks, I consider it to be more of a bonus. Therefore, tonight, we get the 5v5 NHL scoring leader who also plays on PP1, which will be the bonus I mentioned and he will have little ownership.

5v5 NHL point leaders. Only William Karlsson has a better 5v5 points/60 than Mathieu Joseph (from those who played 10+ games) all the GMs who missed out on a bargain

DraftKings and FanDuel Wings - NHL DFS Picks

Connor Zary - DK $3.1K || FD N/A

Opponent - Toronto Maple Leafs

Zary is being overlooked so much that Fan Duel doesn't even have him in their player pool. However, until the Leafs make some trades and/or get healthy on defense, we will be attacking them at will, and Zary provides us with the ultimate value play tonight. He's priced as a 4th liner instead of a top 6 player who also gets power play time. What I like even more about Zary is that he seems determined to stay up in the NHL and not get sent back to the AHL. In the 3 games since he was recalled, he has 1 goal, 2 assists, and 8 shots. The Leafs provide an excellent opportunity for him to build on those stats tonight.

DraftKings and FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks

Dougie Hamilton - DK $6.5K || FD $7.0K

Opponent - Washington Capitals

No matter how you construct your lineups for tonight's game, I highly recommend fitting in Hamilton. He has had at least 4 shots in each of his last 5 games and is playing against the Capitals, who tend to allow the other team's defensemen to shoot from the point. There is plenty of value available on this slate, so it should not be difficult to include Dougie in your lineup. The best part is that he is likely to be overlooked in this slate.
