The NBA closes out the week with a packed 13-game slate Friday. With 26 teams in action, we have a ton of options to wade through in DFS. While that can be a daunting task, we’re here to help narrow down the options.
First, we need to look at the injuries. Some players who have already been ruled out include Kevin Durant (ankle), Bam Adebayo (hip), and Jalen Duren (ankle). Players who are listed as questionable to keep an eye on include Trae Young (illness) and Evan Mobley (knee).
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 12/8/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Devin Booker, PHX vs. SAC – PG/SG ($10,100 DK; $10,800 FD)
Durant isn’t the only player who will miss this game for the Suns. Bradley Beal (back) isn’t ready to return and Grayson Allen (groin) is also unable to play. That should leave Booker, who is already averaging 27.3 points per game, with all of the shot attempts that he can handle. Also potentially helping Booker is that the Kings have the 10th-worst defensive rating in the league.
Coby White, CHI at SA – PG ($7,100 DK; $7,400 FD)
Zach LaVine (foot) could be out until January for the Bulls. That means added opportunities are on the way for White. Over the last three games with LaVine sidelined, White averaged 24.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 5.0 three-pointers. This is a great matchup for him to stay hot, given that the Spurs have played at the fourth-fastest pace.
Ayo Dosunmu, CHI at SA – PG/SG ($4,800 DK; $4,800 FD)
After averaging 26 minutes per game last season, Dosunmu has played just 18 minutes per game this season. However, the injury to LaVine has enabled him to average 31 minutes over the last three games. He capitalized on his opportunity, averaging 12.3 points, 3.7 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers. At such a cheap salary on both sites, he’s worth considering in tournament play.
ALSO CONSIDER: Tyrese Maxey, PHI vs. ATL – PG ($9,300 DK; $9,000 FD), Cam Thomas, BKN vs. WAS – PG/SG/SF ($7,300 DK; $6,500 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Mikal Bridges, BKN vs. WAS – SF/PF/SG ($8,700 DK; $8,500 FD)
After scoring 42 points against the Magic, Bridges followed it up with 32 points versus the Hawks on Wednesday. He remains extremely efficient, shooting 48.8 percent from the field and 85.9 percent from the charity stripe. With him putting up 23.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game, he could feast against a Wizards team that has the second-worst defensive rating in the league. The last time he faced them, he amassed 27 points and 13 rebounds across 34 minutes.
Saddiq Bey, ATL at PHI – SF/PF ($5,700 DK; $5,800 FD)
Jalen Johnson (wrist) being out has opened up a starting spot for Bey. He has taken the role and run with it, averaging 14.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 2.6 three-pointers over five games. A big area of improvement for him this season has been shooting 51.4 percent from the field. Expect him to remain a starter for however long Johnson is sidelined.
Derrick Jones Jr., DAL at POR – SF/PF ($5,100 DK; $5,100 FD)
Talk about a team dealing with injuries. Grant Williams (knee), Maxi Kleber (toe), and Josh Green (elbow) will all sit this one out for the Mavericks. With their lack of depth up front recently, Jones has logged at least 31 minutes in three of their last four games. During that four-game stretch, he averaged 16.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 3.3 three-pointers. Expect him to at least approach playing 30 minutes again.
ALSO CONSIDER: Pascal Siakam, TOR at CHA – PF/C ($8,100 DK; $8,400 FD), Tobias Harris, PHI vs. ATL – SF/PF ($7,100 DK; $6,700 FD)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. HOU – C ($12,000 DK; $12,600 FD)
Jokic has torched the Rockets this season. These two teams have already met three times. In those three games, he has averaged 35.3 points, 16.7 rebounds, and 11.3 assists. It’s difficult to work his hefty salary into a budget, but his upside is off the charts.
Nic Claxton, BKN vs. WAS – C ($6,600 DK; $7,700 FD)
The Wizards are terrible on the glass, allowing the most rebounds per game in the league. That makes them a great matchup for Claxton, who continues to lead the Nets at the center position. When he faced them in November, Claxton racked up 10 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and four blocks across 28 minutes.
Orlando Robinson, MIA vs. CLE – C ($5,400 DK; $5,500 FD)
The absence of Adebayo leaves the Heat searching for answers at the center position. They have turned to Robinson, who barely saw the floor last season with his average of 14 minutes per game. He has started the last two games with Adebayo out and has performed well. First, he chipped in 16 points and five rebounds against the Pacers. He followed that up with 15 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and three steals against the Raptors on Wednesday. At such cheap salaries on both sites, he’s a viable target for those who aren’t looking to spend much at the center position.
ALSO CONSIDER: Joel Embiid, PHI vs. ATL – C ($11,700 DK; $12,500 FD), Chet Holmgren, OKC vs. GS – C ($7,700 DK; $8,300 FD)
