We have a smaller-than-usual slate for a Wednesday night, as there are only six games on the slate during what is a bit of an unusual week scheduling-wise because of the Christmas Day factor Monday. Nevertheless, with 12 teams in action, we have plenty of appealing options to choose from across the salary scale.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 12/27/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7 p.m. ET.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC vs. NYK – PG ($10,500 DK; $11,500 FD)
Gilgeous-Alexander has been playing at a career-best level across the board, a fact evidenced by the averages of 54.5 DK/56.0 FD points per game he's holding on the season. The star guard draws an appealing matchup against a Knicks team that's allowing 47.0 percent, including 39.4 percent from three-point range, to point guards. New York is also yielding over 50 fantasy points per game to PGs on either site over the last 15 games, sealing SGA's case.

Jalen Brunson, NYK at OKC – PG ($8,600 DK; $8,800 FD)
Brunson makes for an intriguing play with as much upside as a five-figure-salary player on the other side of the Knicks-Thunder matchup. The veteran guard checks in with back-to-back tallies of over 50 fantasy points on either site in a back-to-back set against the Bucks, and he's averaging over 41 fantasy points on either site for the season. The Thunder has been especially vulnerable to point guards of late, giving up over 54 DK and over 52 FD points per contest to the position in the last 15 games.
Khris Middleton, MIL at BKN – SG/SF ($6,400 DK; $6,800 FD)
Middleton has picked up the pace after a slow start to the season, and he checks in averaging 30.6 DK points over his last five games on the strength of 49.4 percent shooting, including 38.7 percent from behind the arc, in that span. The veteran wing posted over 25 fantasy points in just 21 minutes against the Nets in the first meeting with Brooklyn this season, and now that his minutes are back to normal, he makes for an intriguing value play against a Nets team surrendering 41.6 percent three-point shooting to small forwards, along with the third-most DK (44.4) and FD (43.6) points per contest to the position.
ALSO CONSIDER: Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN vs. MIL - PG/SG ($7,100 DK; $7,300 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Scottie Barnes, TOR at WAS – SF/PF/PG ($8,700 DK; $9,800 FD)
Barnes is offering outstanding production across the board this season, boasting career-best numbers in essentially every major category. The third-year pro is even shooting a career-best 38.3 percent from three-point range, and he's averaging 54.5 DK/52.3 FD points over his last four games while shooting 50.7 percent in that span. Barnes also hung 45.8 DK/49.8 FD points on the Wizards in the first meeting this season, and Washington comes in surrendering a league-high 51.4 DK/50.2 FD points per contest to SFs in the last 15 games.

Cameron Johnson, BKN vs. MIL – SF/PF ($5,900 DK; $5,800 FD)
Johnson has over-delivered on his current salaries on multiple occasions this season, and he'll check into Wednesday's showdown with averages of 27.4 DK/26.2 FD points per contest for the season. Johnson is shooting a blistering 53.7 percent, including 48.6 percent from behind the arc, over his last six games, and he should have heavy involvement in a game against a Bucks team allowing over 50 fantasy points per game to power forwards on either site this season.
Grayson Allen, PHX at HOU – SF/SG ($5,700 DK; $5,700 FD)
Allen has been playing particularly well of late, and he checks into Wednesday's conference battle having just 48 DK/43.8 FD points versus the Mavericks on Christmas Day. The sharpshooting wing has also scored at least 23 DK and 23.9 FD points in each of his last six games, a stretch during which he's shooting 49.3 percent, including 43.2 percent from three-point range. The Rockets have been tough on small forwards, but a streaky shooter like Allen is always prudent to consider when he has the hot hand.
ALSO CONSIDER: Pascal Siakam, TOR at WAS - PF/C ($8,000 DK; $8,600 FD)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Alperen Sengun, HOU vs. PHO – C ($8,400 DK; $8,700 FD)
Speaking of the Suns-Rockets battle, Sengun could offer outstanding fantasy-point-per-dollar returns based on his recent body of work. The breakout big has averaged 49.5 DK/43.9 FD points over his last six games, and he's coming off having racked up over 60 fantasy points on either site in back-to-back games. The Suns should have Jusuf Nurkic back Wednesday, but Phoenix is allowing 53.3 percent shooting to centers, including 42.0 percent from distance.

Jarrett Allen, CLE at DAL – C/PF ($7,300 DK; $8,000 FD)
Allen has put up some big performances of late, scoring over 40 fantasy points on three occasions in his last seven games, including tallies of 56.3 DK/55.9 FD points against the Bulls on Saturday. The Mavericks make for good candidates to potentially extend his streak of strong production, considering Dallas is allowing the eighth-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (34.4), along with 57.8 DK/55.9 FD points per game to the position on the season. The Mavs are also yielding the fifth-most points in the paint per game (54.5) -- an area of the floor where 79.5 percent of Allen's scoring occurs -- furthering Allen's case.
Jakob Poeltl, TOR at WAS – C/PF ($5,600 DK; $6,400 FD)
Poeltl's production can admittedly be volatile at times, but the big man retains an excellent ceiling relative to his current salaries. Over the last month, Poeltl has averaged an impressive 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 blocks per 26.7 minutes across 13 games, a span during which he's also shooting 73.0 percent. The Wizards check in allowing an NBA-high 40.4 offensive efficiency rating to centers, along with an NBA-high 60.3 shooting percentage as well. Moreover, Washington has given up the most DK (64.4) and FD (63.5) points per game to the position, along with the second-most points in the paint per contest overall (59.0).
ALSO CONSIDER: Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at BKN - C/PF ($11,000 DK; $12,100 FD);
