Hello, RotoBallers! After a jam-packed Friday, I'm back with another Saturday edition of MLB DFS picks. There are fewer games in today's main slate, but there are more than enough options.
This article contains my picks for the nine-game main slate on Saturday, June 17, 2023, for both DraftKings and FanDuel, which locks at 4:05 PM ET. There appears to be rain in the forecast for Kansas City, so keep an eye on that for the Angels vs. Royals matchup.
The lineup picks will range from some elite high-priced players to mid-priced options and value plays. I'll give you a few of my top pitching options and then some infielders, outfielders, and teams to stack. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Bryce Elder, ATL vs. COL ($10,000 DK, $10,600 FD)
Elder has been one of the season's biggest surprises so far, posting a 2.69 ERA through 77 innings. On Saturday, the young right-hander is facing the Colorado Rockies in Atlanta. The Rockies away from Coors are one of the best matchups in baseball since they have the fourth-most strikeouts in away games. The advanced stats suggest that the 24-year-old has some regression coming, and his last two starts have not been great. I expect Elder to get back on track in this matchup.
Wade Miley, MIL vs. PIT ($7,200 DK, $8,200 FD)
Miley is returning from the injured list on Saturday to face the Pittsburgh Pirates. The veteran lefty could be a sneaky pick because he consistently pitches deep into games. Miley reached five or more innings in seven straight starts before leaving his last start early due to injury. He has typically made his living by inducing plenty of ground balls. This season, the 36-year-old is inducing more fly balls while limiting hard contact. I expect a decent start from Miley today.
Others to consider: Mitch Keller ($10,800 DK, $10,200 FD) vs. MIL

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Matt Olson - 1B, ATL vs. COL ($6,200 DK, $3,800 FD)
Matt Olson is doing Matt Olson things this season, big home runs and strikeout numbers. He's 98th percentile or better in average exit velocity, max exit velocity, and hard-hit%. On Saturday, Olson faces Connor Seabold, who owns a 4.70 ERA and 5.31 xFIP in 53 2/3 innings. Seabold is not a big strikeout or ground ball pitcher, so if Olson can put the ball in the air, it may land a long way away.
Matt McLain - 2B/SS, CIN vs. HOU ($4,600 DK, $3,700 FD)
McLain joined the Reds lineup and made an immediate impact. He's been a red-hot hitting machine, with hits in 10 of his last 12 games. The matchup looks juicy going against Astros starter Brandon Bielak. Bielak is giving up a ton of hard hits and barrels this season. McLain has been one of the most productive hitters in baseball since his promotion, and a meeting with Bielak is not likely to change that.
Anthony Rendon - 3B, LAA vs. KC ($3,400 DK, $2,800 FD)
Veteran third baseman Anthony Rendon is fresh off the injured list and ready to make an impact. Rendon is one of baseball's best contact hitters, and Royals pitcher Mike Mayers currently has a BABIP of .352. Rendon also possesses an xBA about 30 points higher than his actual batting average and one of the best walk rates in the league. The 33-year-old third baseman has also succeeded against Mayers, going 2-for-3 in their last matchup. Rendon should collect a hit or two in this game.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Bryce Harper - OF/DH, PHI vs. OAK ($6,300 DK, $3,700 FD)
Harper spent the beginning of the year on the injured list, but he has been the productive hitter he's always been since returning to the Phillies lineup. This season, Harper is slashing .289/.391/.423 with three home runs and 16 RBI in 38 games. The Phillies DH faces right-hander James Kaprielian, who owns a 6.89 ERA this season. Against right-handed pitching this season, Harper is batting .361 with a 1.021 OPS. The 30-year-old should feast against the Athletics.
Teoscar Hernandez - OF, SEA at CWS ($3,000 DK, $2,900 FD)
Hernandez is severely underpriced on both sites. After an abysmal start to the season, Hernandez has picked it up significantly in the past two weeks. On Friday night, the veteran outfielder blasted his 13th home run of the year, showing signs of becoming the hitter the Mariners expected to get when he arrived from the Toronto Blue Jays. On Saturday, Hernandez faces Lucas Giolito. He has batted .286 against Giolito in his career. I fully expect Hernandez to continue his current hot streak.
Bryan De La Cruz - OF, MIA vs. WAS ($3,900 DK, $2,900 FD)
De La Cruz has been a reasonably productive hitter for the Miami Marlins this year, slashing .275/.328/.430 with eight home runs and 35 RBI. The 26-year-old outfielder strikes out over 25% of the time but finds ways to get on base often with his bat. De La Cruz faces Nationals pitcher Jake Irvin on Saturday. Irvin has poor walk and strikeout rates, allowing an 87% contact% and only a 5.2% SwStr%. De La Cruz could be one of many Marlins to have a good game on Saturday.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Cincinnati Reds vs. Brandon Bielak
Cincinnati Reds hitters should have a field day against Astros starter Brandon Bielak. In 42 2/3 innings this season, Bielak has a 4.01 ERA and 6.36 xERA. The 27-year-old also gives up a 51.5% hard-hit% and 18.8% HR/FB%. Bielak is also allowing a nearly 15% barrel% this season. If this game were at Great American Ball Park, it would be an absolute smash, but the Reds will have success regardless of the venue.
Also consider: Minnesota Twins vs. Joey Wentz
Joey Wentz is another pitcher that likely has a tough outing ahead of him. The Twins are not the most productive team against left-handed pitching, but Wentz is giving up a hard-hit% over 45% with an xBA of .291. The 25-year-old also owns a 7.23 ERA, better than his awful xERA of 6.20. Another stat to note is Wentz's 16% HR/FB%. After a poor showing on Friday, I fully expect the Twins' hitters to come out swinging.
