Most of the action is done by Saturday night, but we still have four games sharing the stage with the College World Series final series. I just love how DraftKings can have 35 Padres pitchers listed in their player pool, but still don't have starter Matt Waldron on there. This is 2023, people! How can we not have an updated player pool in a billion-dollar industry? Don't worry. FanDuel doesn't have him either.
This article contains my picks for the four-game late slate on Saturday, June 24, 2023, for both DraftKings and FanDuel, which locks at 7:15 PM ET. Weather in New York could be an issue, so make sure to check in before first pitch in Yankee Stadium to make sure the game is trending towards playing.
The lineup picks will range from some elite high-priced players to mid-priced options and value plays. I'll give you a few of my top pitching options and then some infielders, outfielders, and teams to stack. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Pablo Lopez, MIN at DET ($9,300 DK, $9,500 FD)
Lopez has given up at least four runs in three of his last five starts and four of his last seven after a brilliant start to the season. Most of those blow-ups have happened at home though, so a road game in the Motor City seems like a favor for Lopez. Only the Dodgers have more than two runs against Pablo in a road start in his seven starts away from Target Field. Things are lining up for a good start from Lopez tonight.
Chase Anderson, COL vs. LAA ($6,400 DK, $6,200 FD)
We have to take a leap of faith here, but Anderson has defied logic and pitched very well at Coors Field. In his 24 innings there, he has only given up six runs, good for a 2.25 ERA. His season mark is 4.12, so you know that he has had some difficulties on the road. The Angels are better against lefties and better on the road, but putting Anderson in at this price allows us to stack bats, and he shouldn't lose us points. There are several options tonight that could.
Others to consider: Bobby Miller ($9,100 DK, $9,800 FD) vs. HOU

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Mike Moustakas - 1B, COL vs. LAA ($3,100 DK, $3,100 FD)
Griffin Canning has allowed 11 homers in 11 starts and he hasn't even pitched at Coors Field yet! His numbers are fairly strong all things considered, but they likely won't be after this game. Moose is a cheap way to get Coors exposure and he still has some pop left in his bat. He's hitting .318 over the last ten games, but he does only have one homer in that span. It was on the road, of course.
Royce Lewis - 3B(DK); SS/3B(FD), MIN at DET ($3,500 DK, $2,800 FD)
Any time that you don't use a player from Coors Field tonight, you differentiate yourself from the field. Coors is tough on a four-game slate, especially on DK where you have to use two pitchers. Lewis is riding a five-game hitting streak with two homers, four RBI, three runs scored, and a steal. His price hasn't really increased despite his recent surge, so now is the time to jump on.
Ezequiel Tovar - SS, COL vs. LAA ($3,400 DK, $3,100 FD)
Tovar extended his hitting streak to seven games last night despite missing the last five days because of paternity leave. It goes without saying that you want a guy that can make contact playing at Coors Field. Good things happen when you make contact there.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Shohei Ohtani - 1B/OF(DK); OF(FD), TB vs. KC ($6,600 DK, $5,000 FD)
Ohtani has ten homers in the last 16 games with 18 RBI. If that seems like a low number, it is. 10 of those were him driving in himself! Still, this is Coors Field. Ohtani picked up three hits in the series opener, coming a triple shy of the cycle. As per usual, he only drove in himself. Forget about the low RBI total. Homers are good anywhere.
Juan Soto - OF, SD vs. WAS ($5,800 DK, $3,600 FD)
I went cheap on infielders because of the overwhelming amount of expensive outfielders worth using. That doesn't usually happen on a four-game slate. Soto has two hits in five consecutive games with three homers, six RBI, and seven runs scored in that span. If Ohtani weren't at Coors, I would take Soto over him. I will on FanDuel anyway because of the crazy $1,400 savings.
Max Kepler - OF, MIN at DET ($3,100 DK, $2,600 FD)
Kepler is finally starting to heat up. He has three homers in the last four games with five RBI in that span. Once again, both sites are slow to increase the price, which is surprising given the opponent. I'm all over Kepler at this price. There's a lot of potential for little investment cost.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Ronel Blanco
Coors will reign supreme, but maybe it shouldn't. Blanco has allowed five homers in 17 innings over his last three starts. This Dodgers team isn't as formidable as usual, especially with Freddie Freeman and J.D. Martinez struggling. I'm not after the big names aside from Mookie. I'll be on cheap Dodgers lefties so I can afford Ohtani and pitching. David Peralta, Jason Heyward, and Michael Busch lead the way.
Also consider: Colorado Rockies vs. Griffin Canning
Many will be on the Angels instead, but I'm fine with that. Canning's high homer numbers should be a red flag heading into Coors. I'm going big or going home by riding Moose, Tovar, Nolan Jones, and Randal Grichuk for sure.
Sneaky stack: Washington Nationals vs. Matt Waldron
Waldron has a 7.02 ERA at El Paso this year. Yeah, the Nationals aren't much better than a AAA club right now, but they are still a little better, right? Right?
