We have a big main slate in MLB today. While most of the world is on the NFL in September, there is still some cash to be made in MLB. Half the guys I think will play will not, so you have to be as flexible as Gumby to play MLB DFS in September, but that also means that there is a lot of money out there should you dare to dive in those waters. That's why we're here.
There are ten games on the main slate for today's action. Two pitchers tip the scales on DraftKings at five figures. Surprisingly, there are only two on FanDuel as well. Yesterday we saw some decent bargains on DraftKings, but FanDuel looks pretty favorable for pricing today.
As always, this article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. Saturday's main slate locks at 12:05 pm EST on 9/25/2022. The lineup picks will range from some elite high-priced players to mid-priced options and value plays. I'll give you a few of my top pitching options and then some infielders, outfielders, and teams to stack! You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups. Now that we got all of that out of the way, it's onto the picks!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Dylan Cease vs. Detroit ($10,800 DK, $10,500 FD)
Cease has only allowed two earned runs in three starts against the Tigers this year with 24 strikeouts in 16 innings. I'm pleased with the savings on FanDuel for a guy that racks up the K's against the Tigers anyway. Cease hasn't been particularly sharp over his last couple of outings, but that's not to say that he's been bad either. He has still only allowed more than three earned runs once since May 24. Cease is about as good as it gets.
Nick Lodolo vs. MIL ($9,000 DK, $9,800 FD)
Lodolo's stuff is electric, even if he does give up a few runs. He has 38 strikeouts over 25.1 September innings, including fanning 11 Brewers on September 9 in Milwaukee. Curiously, Lodolo has pitched much better at home this year. He could have an even better outing today even if he does give up a homer or two. The strikeouts more than make up for it.
Also consider: Shane McClanahan, Luis Castillo, Edward Cabrera, Adrian Sampson

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Matt Olson - 1B, ATL at Kyle Gibson ($4,600 DK, $2,800 FD)
Olson is dirt cheap on FD, especially considering his career numbers against Gibson. Olson is 9-for-21 with four homers in his career against Kyle Gibson. I think Olson reverses his late September swoon in this one. Gibson has been clobbered in three of his last four outings.
Jean Segura - 2B, PHI vs. Charlie Morton ($4,000 DK, $2,700 FD)
Segura feels like a nice value on FD, especially considering that he has two of the Phillies' three career homers against Uncle Charlie. While Segura has been a bit cold in September, he does have five hits in the last six games to go with three walks. His 17-for-60 mark against Morton is a good sample size and he hasn't struck out much against Morton (just 10%). He could be a nice bargain today even if he doesn't take Morton deep again.
Amed Rosario - SS, CLE at Cole Ragans ($4,600 DK, $3,100 FD)
Rosario is hitting .362 over the last ten days with a pair of homers, 12 RBI, and four stolen bases. He is packing the stat sheet right now and faces a guy that is the cheapest pitcher on the slate today. We all know what that means. Cole Ragans has been roughed up in his last two starts, allowing nine runs in 8.2 innings. It could have been even worse than that judging by all the hits he's allowed.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Mike Trout - OF, LAA at Dylan Bundy ($6,100 DK, $4,300 FD)
For the first time in a while, I'm off of Yordan Alvarez as my pay-up option despite another strong day last night. This time I'm reserving the pay-up for Trout. Trout is 5-for-11 with a pair of homers and a higher walk rate than strikeout rate in his career against Bundy. The great tankers known as the Minnesota Twins can blame a lot of their September woes on pitching, both starters and the bullpen. I feel like Trout gets them today.
Eloy Jimenez - OF, CWS vs. Tyler Alexander ($5,300 DK, $3,800 FD)
Eloy has two homers and six RBI this week, so he's already seeing the ball well. He has also hit Tyler Alexander pretty well in his career with seven hits, including a homer, in his 23 at-bats. I definitely want some exposure to White Sox bats today. Eloy is the low-hanging fruit.
Nick Gordon - 2B/OF, MIN vs. Jose Suarez ($3,100 DK, $2,500 FD)
Gordon has been one of the few bright spots for the Twins this month. He is hitting .276 with three homers and 12 RBI for the month even though he isn't running as he did in August. I don't trust Jose Suarez or the bullpen behind him. There may be a few cheaper options that end up starting today, but Gordon feels like a better play than most.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Here are my top stacks for tonight (in the order in which I like them):
Chicago White Sox - There's no Coors on the main slate today, but Tyler Alexander can be a nice little pitching machine. I'll call his domination of Baltimore earlier this week an outlier since he allowed 19 earned runs over the four starts prior to that. The White Sox have burned me a lot this year, but they have a lot of right-handed power that could get to Alexander today. Elvis Andrus, Eloy, and Yoan Moncada are the obvious choices. Josh Harrison is the salary saver.
Atlanta Braves - Kyle Gibson has two negative-point outings and one single-digit outing in his last four games. I'm a Twins fan. I've seen the best and worst of Kyle Gibson, and we often get his worst in September. He has a career 5.03 ERA once college football starts. Gibson's solid outing against the Braves came in May and July. They should exact some revenge here.
Honorable mention: Los Angeles Angels
