Happy Saturday, RotoBallers! We had a jam-packed 13-game Friday main slate, and Saturday should be more of the same, albeit in a slightly smaller sample.
This article contains my picks for the nine-game main slate on Saturday, September 16, 2023, for both DraftKings and FanDuel, which locks at 7:05 PM ET.
The lineup picks will range from some elite high-priced players to mid-priced options and value plays. I'll give you a few of my top pitching options and then some infielders, outfielders, and teams to stack. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Pablo Lopez, MIN at CWS ($10,500 DK, $11,000 FD)
Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez has had quite the season in 2023. The 27-year-old has earned a 3.43 ERA with 213 strikeouts in 178 2/3 innings this season. Lopez's K/9 is the highest of his career, and his xERA of 3.03 is the lowest of his career. Lopez faces the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. The White Sox have the second-lowest OPS, second-lowest wOBA, and second-lowest wRC+ against right-handed pitching in the last 30 days. Lopez should have a good day at the office on Saturday.
Sawyer Gipson-Long, DET at LAA ($7,500 DK, $7,400 FD)
Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Sawyer Gipson-Long is making his second major league start on Saturday. The good news is the 25-year-old pitcher draws a favorable matchup against the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels have the fifth-lowest wOBA, eighth-lowest OPS, and seventh-highest strikeout rate against right-handed pitching in the past month. Reports also came out last night that Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani cleared out his locker. I assume Ohtani does not play in this game.
Others to consider: Corbin Burnes ($10,300 DK, $10,700 FD) vs. WSH

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Mookie Betts - 2B/SS/OF, LAD at SEA ($6,600 DK, $4,400 FD)
Los Angeles Dodgers, infielder/outfielder extraordinaire Mookie Betts has once again been one of the best hitters in baseball following his brief time off nursing a sore foot. In the past 30 days, Betts has slashed .418/.517/.714 with the second-highest OPS among qualified hitters. Betts should be one of the most exciting plays of the day in daily fantasy lineups.
Royce Lewis - 3B, MIN at CWS ($4,800 DK, $3,700 FD)
Minnesota Twins infielder Royce Lewis has been one of the most productive hitters in the Twins lineup over the past few weeks, earning a .981 OPS since mid-August. Lewis faces Chicago White Sox starter Touki Toussaint on Saturday. Toussaint has a 5.65 ERA in 71 2/3 innings this season. Lewis should find success in this matchup.
Jace Peterson - 2B/3B, ARI vs. CHC ($3,100 DK, $2,300 FD)
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Jace Peterson faces Chicago Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks on Saturday. In his career against Hendricks, Peterson is 10-for-23 (.435) with two home runs and five RBI. Peterson is only batting .215 on the season but has found success against Hendricks in the past and should continue to do so if allowed to start the game on Saturday.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Julio Rodriguez - OF, SEA vs. LAD ($6,500 DK, $4,500 FD)
Seattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez is one of the most expensive players on both sites on Saturday, and for good reason. In the past 30 days, Rodriguez slashed .430/.458/.798 with 11 home runs and the highest OPS among qualified hitters. Rodriguez faces Los Angeles Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw on Saturday. The 22-year-old has a 1.014 OPS against left-handed starting pitchers this season. Rodriguez should be productive despite facing a future Hall of Fame pitcher.
Seiya Suzuki- OF, CHC at ARI ($4,200 DK, $3,100 FD)
Chicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki has been hot for the past month, slashing .348/.390/.696 with eight home runs and 11 doubles. The 29-year-old faces Arizona Diamondbacks starter Zach Davies on Saturday. Davies has a 6.81 ERA in 75 1/3 innings this season. Suzuki should be able to find success in this matchup at Chase Field.
Jason Heyward - OF, LAD at SEA ($3,000 DK, $2,600 FD)
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Jason Heyward faces Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Bryce Miller. Miller is a right-handed starter with a 4.05 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 117 2/3 innings. The left-handed-hitting Heyward has found success in his role as a platoon hitter with the Dodgers. Heyward is slashing .277/.355/.479 with 12 home runs, 18 doubles, and 36 RBI against right-handed pitching. The 34-year-old should continue mashing on Saturday.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Bryce Miller
Seattle Mariners right-handed starter Bryce Miller will have to navigate a Dodgers lineup with left-handed hitters like Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy, James Outman, and Jason Heyward. Aside from the left-handed sluggers on the Dodgers, Miller will have to face NL MVP front-runner Mookie Betts in the leadoff spot. It is not a pretty matchup for Miller on Saturday.
