Hello there, RotoBallers! Yes, we have a Coors game. Will I be fading it? Not entirely, but as I'm a tournament kind of gal, I have spotted a few other games to target that could be sneaky high scoring.
Texas, Arizona, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh are a few of the stacks I'll be focusing on for tonight's slate. The stack that could be sneaky would be the Washington Nationals (more on that a bit later).
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/6/2023 and the slate locking at 7:05 pm ET. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential. Now that we got all that out of the way, it's onto the picks! DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Clarke Schmidt, NYY vs. CHW ($7,900 DK, $7,400 FD)
Schmidt's ERA currently sits at 5.01, but his xFIP is 3.78 (you guessed it: sneaky!). His K% is 26%, and he's going up against a Chicago team with a 24.50% K% and a paltry wrc+ of 79 for the season (90 in the last 30 days, so yes, trending up but not by much).
Mitch Keller, PIT vs. OAK ($10,900 DK, $11,300 FD)
Mitch Keller has a great matchup against Oakland, whose low wRC+ and ISO stats correlate with their high strikeout percentage. He has won his last four out of five games, and his K/9 is 11.2. He'll be chalky, but I'll play him with a reasonably cheap Washington stack.
Logan Gilbert, SEA @ SD ($9,900 DK, $9,800 FD)
Logan Gilbert is going up against a San Diego Padres team trending down with a wRC+ for the season of 101 but only 85 for the past 30 days. Gilbert's K% is 28.7, and San Diege's K% is 24.1%. Aside from Alfonso Rivas and Juan Soto, no other left-handed hitter on the Padres has a wRC+ of over 100 versus right-handed pitchers. Let's remember those pitcher-friendly cold temperatures; the temperature in San Diego will be a chilly 62 degrees around game time.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Freddie Freeman- 1B, LAD vs. Luke Weaver ($5,400 DK, $4,200 FD)
In his career of 2,748 plate appearances versus right-handed pitchers away from home, Freddie Freeman is batting .309 with 112 HRs and 379 RBI. For the last thirty days, the Los Angeles Dodgers have a wRC+ of 115 and an ISO of .217 (.140 is around the current league average). The team as a whole has a wRC+ of 115 against right-handed pitchers.
Marcus Semien - 2B, TEX vs. Matthew Liberatore ($5,700 DK, $4,300 FD)
Marcus Semien is on a current 24-game hit streak. Semien's slash line versus left-handed pitchers is .300/.388/.414, and Liberatore's slash line against righties when away from home is .308/.400/.385. I'll take the over on Semien continuing his streak.
Corey Seager - SS TEX vs. Matthew Liberatore ($5,600 DK, $4,400 FD)
Lefties versus lefties tend to be lower owned, and at Seager's price of $5,600 on DK, I expect this trend to continue. Seager's slash line versus left-handed pitchers is .361/.368/.583, and his OPS is .951. For June overall, his slash line is .529/.556/.882. I'll be looking to stack Texas in all contests tonight.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Seiya Suzuki - OF, CHC vs. Tyler Anderson ($4,400 DK, $2,900 FD)
The Chicago Cubs are one of the teams I'll be stacking for tournaments. Their K% is a crazy 28.4%, but going up against Tyler Anderson, his 13.9% strikeout rate and his xFIP of 6.06 could make for a sneaky stack. Suzuki has a wRC+ of 120 and an average of .364 against left-handed pitchers.
Lane Thomas - OF, WAS vs. Tommy Henry ($4,400 DK, $3,300 FD)
Lane Thomas bats .350 at home versus left-handed pitchers. The Washington Nationals are a team I'm looking to stack in tournaments, and Thomas' average and wRC+ of 111 will get me there.
Juan Soto - OF, SD vs. Logan Gilbert ($5,600 DK, $3,600 FD)
The San Diego Padres could be better versus right-handed pitchers, but Juan Soto will be one to watch against Logan Gilbert. Soto has a slash line of .260/.433/.511 and OPS of .944 against Righties. Given his price and the team's record against right-handed pitchers, I expect him to be low-owned this evening.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
