It's a fantastic Friday, RotoBallers. We have a juicy 10-game slate to attack tonight and I'll be taking you through the pitchers, hitters, and stacks that I like the best. Let's get to it!
This article contains my picks for the 10-game main slate on Friday, June 23, 2023, for both DraftKings and FanDuel, which locks at 7:05 PM ET. Right now, three of the five games could have some rain issues. Philadelphia, Washington, and Cleveland could have some issues. It looks like the rain should clear out of Philly by the first pitch or have a minor delay at the start of the game. Washington and Cleveland shouldn't be rained out but could have in-game delays. Keep an eye to the sky though just in case.
The lineup picks will range from some elite high-priced players to mid-priced options and value plays. I'll give you a few of my top pitching options and then some infielders, outfielders, and teams to stack. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Joe Musgrove, SD vs. WAS ($8,800 DK, $8,900 FD)
Musgrove is simply unpriced for his expectation tonight. He has a home date against the Washington Nationals and no one should be afraid of what the Nationals are doing against right-handed pitching this year. Washington's projected lineup has a combined .124 ISO against right-handed pitching this season.
The Nationals lineup also has combined for just a 15% strikeout percentage against right-handed pitching this season, which is low. Musgrove has excelled against left-handed hitters, though, as he has a 23% strikeout percentage against left-handed hitters this year compared to 18% against right-handed hitters. The Nationals have five left-handed hitters in their projected lineup, which only adds to Musgrove's upside here.
Chris Bassitt, TOR vs. OAK ($9,200 DK $9,300 FD)
Bassitt has had an up-and-down season. While fantasy players might prefer to roster consistent pitchers, up-and-down pitchers are actually more valuable in DFS because you can really get paid off when a pitcher puts up one of their good outlier performances. Bassitt is a good example of this as in his last two starts he's had 0.25 and -6.45 DraftKings points, but in his two starts before that, he had 25.6 and 35.45 DraftKings points.
Oakland is a good matchup for Bassitt at least. He's at home and the Athletics are 25th in runs per game on the road this season with 3.97 runs per game on the road. Bassitt is a good but risky option best used in tournaments tonight.
Others to consider: Clarke Schmidt ($7,200 DK, $7,700 FD) NYY vs. TEX

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Shohei Ohtani- 1B, LAA at COL ($6,700 DK)
Ohtani is listed as outfield only on FanDuel, but he's first base and outfield eligible on DraftKings. Wherever you play tonight, he's the best play on the entire slate. Ohtani's recent form at the plate is outstanding, especially against left-handed pitchers on the road. Tonight he has a matchup with a left-handed pitcher in Kyle Freeland in the best hitters' park in baseball at Coors Field. Ohtani has a ridiculous .269 ISO against left-handed pitching this season.
Brandon Drury - 1B/2B, LAA at COL ($5,000 DK, $3,600 FD)
Drury is an infielder with multi-position eligibility on both sites. This is another Angel with a great matchup in Coors Field tonight. Kyle Freeland has allowed a .209 ISO to right-handed hitters this season. Drury isn't Ohtani, but he's cheaper, has also been hitting well lately, and is right-handed.
Brandon Belt - 1B, TOR vs. OAK ($2,500 DK, $2,500 FD)
Belt is one of the best value plays on the entire slate. He's underpriced on both sites. Belt is hitting cleanup for the Blue Jays these days and has a great matchup tonight at home. Belt has a .182 ISO against right-handed pitching this season and will face James Kaprielian tonight. Kaprielian has allowed a .235 to left-handed hitters this season.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Fernando Tatis Jr. - OF, SD vs. WAS ($6,600 DK, $4,300 FD)
Tatis Jr. isn't in Coors Field tonight like the Angels, but he might have the next best thing on this slate and that's a matchup against Patrick Corbin. Corbin has allowed a .172 ISO to right-handed hitters this year and Tatis Jr. has a ridiculous .420 ISO against left-handed pitchers this season. He's expensive of course, but the Angels being in Coors Field should keep his rostership in check.
Hunter Renfroe- OF, LAA at COL ($4,500 DK, $3,100 FD)
Another Angels hitter in Coors Field. This is going to be a spot you want to have some exposure to tonight. Renfroe has a .161 ISO against left-handed pitching this year and has historically crushed left-handed pitching this year. Freeland has allowed a .209 ISO to right-handed hitters this season. Renfroe's underpriced, especially on FanDuel.
Seth Brown - OF, OAK at TOR ($2,600 DK, $2,400 FD)
I recommended Chris Bassitt earlier, but in lineups where you aren't using him, Seth Brown makes a lot of sense tonight. He's one of the best value plays on the entire slate as he's underpriced on both sites. Brown has a .181 ISO against right-handed pitching this season and Bassitt has allowed a .331 ISO to left-handed hitters this season.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Los Angeles Angels vs. Kyle Freeland
You guessed it, the Angels are my top stack on the slate tonight. They should be popular, but that's because they project as far and away the best stack. With Freeland allowing a .209 ISO to right-handed hitters and the Angels with a heavily right-handed lineup outside of Shohei Ohtani everyone is in play here.
Also consider: Toronto Blue Jays vs. James Kaprielian
The Blue Jays hitters have underwhelmed this season, but they're in a good spot at home here. Kaprielian hasn't been working deep into games this year and Oakland has the worst bullpen ERA in all of baseball by almost a full run at 5.61.
Sneaky Stack: Oakland Athletics vs. Chris Bassitt
This Chris Bassitt spot is certainly one where making multiple lineups and playing both sides makes sense. If Bassitt has a great start or a terrible one you can get paid off. Oakland hitters are underpriced, especially the left-handed hitters as Bassitt has allowed a .331 ISO to left-handed hitters this season.
