DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Logan Gilbert, SEA vs. MIL ($8,500 DK, $9,700 FD)
Logan Gilbert and the Seattle Mariners play host to the Milwaukee Brewers tonight and Logan Gilbert is in a nice place to deliver big-time value to your fantasy roster.
After breaking out with a 3.20 ERA across 32 starts last season, the right-hander has turned in a 2.70 mark through three starts this season along with a healthy 29.9% K%. He's struck out at least six hitters in all three of his starts which is impressive considering two of the three outings came against a Cleveland Guardians club that sits third with an 18% K% on the young season.
Gilbert should also get ample run support from a strong Mariners offense that takes on Brewers right-hander Colin Rea so lock Gilbert in as your top starter Tuesday evening.
Nathan Eovaldi, TEX vs. KC ($7,800 DK, $9,100 FD)
Wait, didn't Eovaldi just get touched up for six runs on 10 hits in five inning his last time out against this very same Kansas City Royals squad? He sure did. Only this time, he should be able to exact some revenge against a team that's striking out more than nearly any team in baseball.
Like Gilbert, Eovaldi has struck out a minimum of six hitters in all three of his starts this season with a 27.9% K% along the way. While that figure is due for some regression given his track record in the strikeout department, only the San Francisco Giants have struck out at a higher clip than the Royals' 26.5%.
While the right-hander owns a 6.32 ERA on the young season, he also sports a 2.30 FIP, 3.04 SIERA, and a tiny 4.4% BB%. Eovaldi has long boasted very strong control and that's been no different this time around.
He appears to be right there next to Gilbert as a rock-solid option on this 11-game slate.
Clarke Schmidt, NYY vs. LAA ($6,300 DK, $6,400 FD)
Want some value? Give Schmidt a spin as he takes on the Angels tonight in the Bronx.
The Yankees right-hander hasn't enjoyed a fruitful start to the season as he owns an 8.44 ERA while his 6.32 FIP isn't suggesting any poor luck. His SIERA does dip to 4.74 but he's striking out only 20.8% of the hitters he's faced on the young season.
A 2017 first-round pick, Schmidt has posted very strong strikeout numbers in the minors but has yet to translate those to the big leagues. He did, however, toss a 3.12 ERA in 57 2/3 innings last season even if 26 of his 29 appearances came out of the bullpen.
If you're looking for some value either as an SP2 at DraftKings or as your starter at FanDuel Schmidt fits the bill tonight against the Angels.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Nolan Gorman - 2B, STL vs. Drey Jameson ($4,200 DK, $3,400 FD)
Nolan Gorman and the St. Louis Cardinals get a real nice matchup tonight as they take on Arizona D-backs right-hander Drey Jameson.
Jameson might own a 1.46 ERA in 12 1/3 innings on the season, but also a 4.70 FIP and 4.06 SIERA. He's also surrendered a big 48.4% hard-hit rate along with an elevated 9.7% barrel rate on the season, a scary combination considering his 41.9% fly-ball rate. He's yielded two homers in those 12 1/3 frames and is vulnerable to the gopher ball tonight against Gorman.
Gorman sports big-time raw power and is off to a great start this season. He is hitting .333 with four homers, one steal, and a 1.064 OPS across 60 trips to the plate. The good news is he's also cut down on the strikeouts in a big way with a 23.3% K% that is an eternity below his 32.9% mark from a season ago.
The lefty-swinging Gorman should do more damage in this matchup tonight.
Gunnar Henderson - 3B/SS, BAL vs. Josiah Gray ($3,800 DK, $2,800 FD)
It's been an uneven start to the season for Gunnar Henderson as the 21-year-old has understandably struggled to begin what should be a long and prosperous career.
Henderson is hitting just .178 so far alongside just one homer and one stolen base across 59 trips to the plate. Henderson has struck out in 35.6% of his plate appearances but has also walked in 22% of them. However, he takes on a pitcher in Josiah Gray who struggles with the long ball.
Gray has already surrendered four homers in just 16 2/3 innings on the season while he allowed a whopping 38 in just 148 2/3 frames last season. He owns a 2.33 HR/9 in his young career which is a mouth-watering figure if you're the Orioles today in Washington.
Here's a big opportunity for Henderson to flex some muscle tonight in Washington.
Eugenio Suarez - 3B, SEA vs. Colin Rea ($4,500 DK, $3,000 FD)
The third straight reasonably-priced infielder, Eugenio Suarez is in a nice spot as he takes on Brewers right-hander Colin Rea tonight.
Rea allowed just one earned run in 5 2/3 innings in his lone start of the season to this point but did allow a homer in the outing. If it's the long ball you desire Suarez makes good sense as a strong positive regression candidate moving forward.
He's off to a nice start with a .290 average and while he does have two homers to this point his .130 isolated power leaves plenty to be desired. After all, he has 31 homers in each of his last two seasons along with an ISO of at least .223 both times. In other words, his ISO could nearly double moving forward.
Let's see if he can begin to slug for more power beginning tonight in a fine matchup.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Kyle Garlick - OF, MIN vs. Chris Sale ($2,300 DK, $2,00o FD)
This value potential here with Kyle Garlick is insane. He's at the minimum price on FanDuel and just $300 north of the minimum at DraftKings and is a key cog in your DFS lineups as a result.
It's been a struggle for Chris Sale who owns an 11.25 ERA/7.57 FIP in three starts while surrendering five home runs in just 12 innings so far. While he's been torched by both lefties and righties so far, the righty-swinging Garlick has feasted on left-handed pitching in his career.
Indeed, Garlick owns a monstrous .299 ISO in his career off lefties alongside an .853 OPS. He's 1-for-3 with a homer against left-handed pitching so far this season after having his contract selected from Triple-A.
His price combined with sky-high value upside warrants serious consideration on this slate.
Jack Suwinski - OF, PIT vs. Jose Urena ($2,700 DK, $2,700 FD)
Let's stick with the cost-efficient trend for now as Jack Suwinki takes on Rockies right-hander Jose Urena tonight at Coors Field.
Given his home run issues, Urena isn't exactly the best fit in Colorado. He owns a career 1.21 HR/9 and has already allowed an eye-popping five homers in just 10 innings this season. He's allowed a 1.43 HR/9 and .840 OPS to left-handed hitters in his career.
Enter the lefty-swinging Suwinski who might be hitting just .226 on the season but also with two homers and a double in his 36 trips to the plate. The 24-year-old clubbed 19 homers in just 106 games with the Pirates in his age-23 season last year after homering nine times in 44 games across two minor-league levels in 2022.
The price is fantastic given the scenario playing out tonight at Coors Field against a righty that cannot keep the ball in the park.
Seiya Suzuki - OF, CHC vs. Ken Waldichuk ($5,200 DK, $3,000 FD)
The value upside is increased at FanDuel with Seiya Suzuki but he should be able to deliver on both sites against A's southpaw Ken Waldichuk.
Waldichuk has been battered for a 10.20 ERA/9.52 FIP in three starts this season while he's surrendered an epic seven homers in just 15 innings pitched. On the flip side, Suzuki has been far better versus lefties than righties in his brief big-league tenure as he owns a strong .198 ISO and .852 OPS versus lefties compared to a .161 ISO and .738 OPS off righties.
He has one homer in four games since coming off the injured list so have a look at Suzuki in your outfield tonight.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Chicago Cubs vs. Ken Waldichuk
We'll go right back to Waldichuk here as the Cubs should be able to attack the southpaw tonight.
There's a wealth of Cubs bats worth considering along with Suzuki tonight. Patrick Wisdom is on an absolute heater with eight homers -- including two last night -- on the season, so he should certainly be part of a Cubs stack, Dansby Swanson and Ian Happ make sense as well while Trey Mancini is an option if you need help at the first base position.
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Drey Jameson
Gorman is a fantastic look at second base but is far from the only Cardinals hitter you should consider this evening. Lars Nootbaar is another fine left-handed-hitting option while catcher Willson Contreras makes sense as well. While Contreras hits lefties better than righties, so do Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado. This might be a good time to fade the stars and roster the second half of the Cardinals lineup while providing yourself with some cost efficiency.
Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Jose Urena
One night after hanging 14 runs on the Rockies the Pirates are in for another big day on Tuesday.
I'm a big fan of Suwinski but the likes of Carlos Santana, Canaan Smith-Njigba, and Ji Hwan Bae make sense. I prefer lefties when it comes to Urena but I'm not going to argue against Brian Reynolds closer to the top of the lineup tonight.
Good luck tonight, everyone!
