We have another big eight-game prime-time slate to fill our Saturday night. Sure, MLB is going on, but wouldn't you rather watch Clemson-Florida State? Maybe not, but we have some nice games after that. Tennessee is hog hunting in Fayetteville. Baylor heads up to Ames. Michigan heads out west to Husky Stadium. USC gets to play in Minneapolis in October.
Are you intrigued yet? Get a load of this one! UCF heads up to Gainesville to face the Gators. Kansas is in Tempe to take on the Sun Devils. We finish in Atlanta with Duke looking to go 6-0 on the season facing Georgia Tech. Now I should have your attention!
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/5/24, locking at 7 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Cade Klubnik, Clemson ($8.6K)
After getting blown out by #UGA in the season opener, it feels like we've seen this movie before.
Can 2024 Cade Klubnik replicate 2022 Bo Nix? pic.twitter.com/JOjcDJEu0f
— Matt Green (@Matt_W_Green) September 25, 2024
Since that Georgia game, Klubnik has 12 touchdown passes in three games, four rushing touchdowns, and only one turnover. He feels cheap against this Florida State defense. Klubnik might be my favorite play on the entire slate.
Will Rogers, Washington ($7.1K)
It's going to be tough for the Huskies against the Michigan defense, but Rogers thrives in the short passing game, relying on his receivers for big plays. He hasn't thrown an interception this season in five games. Rogers won't take unnecessary risks, which should give him a stable floor against a good Michigan defense.
Sawyer Robertson, Baylor ($5.9K)
This job should be Robertson's without a doubt. Iowa State's defense is as good as you'll find in the Big 12 (14), but Robertson put up big numbers against a good BYU defense as well playing from behind. Expect more of the same tonight.
Also consider: K.J. Jefferson, Central Florida ($9.1K); Maalik Murphy, Duke ($7.6K); Taylen Green, Arkansas ($7K); Brock Glenn, Florida State ($4.9K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
R.J. Harvey, Central Florida ($9.2K)
RJ Harvey with the wheel route TD!
Speed and ball tracking on display here, for an RB who’s already one of the most productive runners in the nation.
— Ian Cummings (@IC_Draft) September 28, 2024
Harvey is already a cheat code out of the backfield. Now he's flying down the field on wheel routes too? Poor Florida. Their much-maligned run defense (550 rushing yards allowed in the last two games against Texas A&M and Mississippi State) has no chance of stopping this guy.
Darius Taylor, Minnesota ($7.6K)
A healthy Darius Taylor makes Minnesota a dangerous team. he had 10 receptions in the Big House last week in the near upset of Michigan. Both Michigan and Iowa shut him down on the ground, but his passing chops (21 receptions in four games) raise his floor. Taylor could have a monster against USC tonight.
Abu Sama III, Iowa State ($4.5K)
Sama posted his first 100-yard game of the season last week and his price went down. Awesome! Lock and load again!
Also consider: Cam Skattebo, Arizona State ($8K); Kalel Mullings, Michigan ($7.1K); Phil Mafah, Clemson ($7K); Star Thomas, Duke ($4.7K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Denzel Boston, Washington ($7.4K)
Boston has 226 yards on 13 receptions with four touchdowns in the last two games against good defenses in Rutgers and Northwestern. Expect Michigan to lock down the run game, which should mean a ton of targets for Boston once again.
Luke Grimm, Kansas ($6K)
Grimm has become a target hog this season at Kansas. He has at least seven targets in every game. The inaccuracy of Jalon Daniels this year has capped his ceiling a bit, but Grimm will provide a good floor at the price. And hey, if Kansas finally goes off, Grimm will be front and center.
Jayden Higgins, Iowa State ($5.3K)
Higgins wasn't supposed to be the star receiver on this team. It is supposed to be Jaylin Noel. Teams have rolled coverage over to Noel, so credit Rocco Becht for looking toward the lesser-covered Higgins. Higgins has at least 16 DraftKings points in all four games. He's too cheap for the production.
Daniel Jackson, Minnesota ($4.5K)
Jackson is about the only Gopher receiver that gets targets. At least it seems like it over the last two games. Jackson has 16 receptions over the last two games alone against outstanding defenses. I love him at the price against USC.
Also consider: Jordan Moore, Duke ($7K); Andrew Armstrong, Arkansas ($6.5K); Dont'e Thornton Jr., Tennessee ($5.2K); Colston Loveland, Michigan ($5K); Bryant Wesco Jr., Clemson ($4.6K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Clemson
The Florida State defense is still a mess and you know Clemson wants to lay it on the Seminoles in Tallahassee. Klubnik, Phil Mafah, Bryant Wesco Jr., and Antonio Williams provide a lot of production without blowing your entire budget.
Central Florida
The last time K.J. Jefferson played in the Swamp, he beat the Gators in overtime. He ran for 92 yards and threw for 255 more. Harvey and Jefferson may be all you need for this stack, but Kobe Hudson is a nice addition, too, if you can afford him.
Also consider: Kansas, Tennessee
