DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 4/2/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

There are only two rounds left in the EuroLeague regular season. One of those ends today. Munich clinched a playoff spot yesterday. Kaunas lost to Berlin, giving the Germans one of those playoff spots up for grabs and eliminated themselves from the playoffs. That leaves four teams fighting for two slots now. Real Madrid and Vitoria-Gasteiz are in the driver's seats with St Petersburg and Valencia breathing down their necks. Three of those teams are in action today.

Reports out of Moscow say that Mike James may not play again this season after another shouting match with the coach last week during a domestic game. CSKA can clinch home court advantage with a win over their crosstown rival Khimki today. CSKA will still be without Nikola Milutinov as well, but Joel Bolomboy could play today and would be a great value if he does. Piraeus is still thin up front and Khimki is still battling several injuries. We need to keep a close eye on the injuries today before tip.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/2/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Errick McCollum, Khimki ($8,600)

This guard pool was weak anyway, but with the news that Alexey Shved is done for the year with a broken finger makes it even worse. McCollum is too streaky to rely upon, but wow, he's cheap and Khimki only has two fully healthy guards right now. Stefan Jovic has missed two months with an undisclosed back issue. Even if the does play, he will be very limited. Evengy Voronov was held out for an undisclosed reason earlier this week, but if he is cleared, $3,300 is way too cheap. Vyacheslav Zatysev has been decent when given the chance, but it's worth it to pay up for McCollum here. He might play the entire game....

Daniel Hackett, CSKA ($7,900)

I can't rule out a CSKA stack here since Khimki is the worst defensive team by miles. However, where do we even start? Hackett is picking up some of the scoring slack in the absence of James, but he can't come close to scoring like James can. Hackett is also playing limited minutes. Janis Strelnieks is playing about as many minutes, but he's even less of an offensive threat than Hackett is. CSKA will likely decide to run big again, so there isn't a ton of upside for the guards. Hackett is really the only one worth considering unless you want to run Lundberg.

Derrick Walton Jr., Villeurbanne ($5,300)

Walton has played at least 20 minutes in three straight games now. His numbers have predictably increased across the board. Perhaps the biggest surprise for Villeurbanne is that Walton is doing more than just scoring. He's looking to be the leader off the bench as the French team is using the EuroLeague games to stay tight for domestic games right now. Walton appears to be an established part of the rotation and could grow into more if he keeps playing like this.

Also consider: Nando de Colo, Fenerbahce ($10,800); Peyton Siva, Berlin ($9,400); Sam Van Rossom, Valencia ($7,500); Iffe Lundberg, CSKA ($5,700)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Nikola Mirotic, Barcelona ($12,100)

I think it's finally safe to say that Mirotic is back. He has 93.25 DraftKings points in just 62 minutes over the last two games. This is another great matchup for Mirotic, and I would suggest running him over Jordan Mickey unless you are stacking the two Khimki guys that carry the team. Even then, I'm leaning towards trying to run Mirotic with Shved. That produces a huge ceiling and a very nice floor to stand on. Value is where it gets tricky. Some will open up when some of these questionable guys inevitably end up sitting out.

Will Clyburn, CSKA ($9,200)

The days of getting Clyburn on the cheap are over. This is around the price that he was at last year and he's worth it. Clyburn has 86.75 DraftKings points over the last three games. With both James and Milutinov out, there's plenty of trickle down effect for the CSKA team. Tornike Shengelia is a solid option as well, but Clyburn has been a much better value for the price. So has Johannes Voigtmann. I will have exposure to him as well. You should have both Clyburn and Voigtmann in a game stack if you can work the price.

Usman Garuba, Real Madrid ($6,800)

We knew that Garuba would put up some monster numbers when they finally turned him loose. They kind of have. Garuba has 59 DraftKings points in 60 minutes over the last two rounds. Real Madrid needs this game, so we could see Walter Tavares return. Considering that he was limited in practice yesterday though, we should still see plenty of Garuba. If Real Madrid wins this one, they clinch a playoff spot. Expect them to run the best players out there that they have. Garuba is the best they have right now when Tavares is out.

Also consider: Jordan Mickey, Khimki ($12,000); Sasha Vezenkov, Piraeus ($10,300); Ben Lammers, Berlin ($7,700); Sergey Karasev, Khimki ($6,100)
