We have our first two-round week in about a month in the EuroLeague this week. that means four nooners this week. We don't have to wait until prime time to tilt DFS basketball! It's a good primer for March Madness coming up later this month. My college basketball DFS content will increase accordingly. First thing first: a packed week of EuroLeague!
We have the largest EuroLeague slate that I've ever played with 14 of the 18 teams in action today! Wednesday will be a little slower, but we are definitely getting a ton of action on Tuesday! Khimki and Real Madrid combined for almost 200 points and Alexey Shved set a Khimki record for assists in that game. Real Madrid looks a little different than they did last year, but Khimki is finally mostly healthy again. This game could be sneaky. Which other ones will be? Let's get right into this!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/2/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards
Wade Baldwin, Munich ($9,400)
You can play roulette with the Efes guards if you like. I prefer not to. I was on the wrong end of the Vasa Micic-Shane Larkin wheel on Friday. Both of them were solid in the first meeting with Valencia, but this isn't a superb matchup. Baldwin has a better matchup and has been far more consistent than either Efes guard. The ceiling on Micic and Larkin is higher - much higher in fact - but for my sanity, I'm saving the money with Baldwin and writing in a 30 in sharpie instead of penciling in a 40 with Micic or Larkin.
Marius Grigonis, Piraeus ($8,000)
Grigonis had a miserable game in Round 26 as Real Madrid just locked him down. That's good for us. His price is depressed going against a team that he put 33 DraftKings points on the first time around. Real Madrid's performance against Grigonis in particular and Piraeus in general is a big reason I'm not all-in on Shved today. It's a seven game slate. We don't need to reach. Besides, if you go with a Shved fade, it's relatively easy to fit both Baldwin and Grigonis in your lineup.
Nick Laprovittola, Real Madrid ($6,900)
Sergio Llull has already be ruled out and Carlos Alocen was injured in practice today. If I had a guess, I would say that he's unlikely to play. That leaves Laprovittola and Jaycee Carroll as the only Real Madrid guards that have seen EuroLeague game action this season. Both are in superb spots. Khimki has allowed the most fantasy points to guards in the entire league this season. Any of the bench fodder is still a big risk here since we don't know who will play. I'm limiting my Real Madrid guard exposure to Laprovittola and Carroll, and in some cases, both. Alocen in a solid pick if he is cleared to play. That may ding the value of these two a bit as well.
Bonus pick: Chris Jones, Tel Aviv ($4,500)
Jones has seen a nice uptick in minutes with Yovel Zoosman back on the shelf. Jones has played 31 minutes over the last two rounds and picked up 27.5 DraftKings points in that span. Zoosman is still out and Tel Aviv has a very nice matchup here. If you need to dig deep for value, Jones is your safest bet.
Also consider: Alexey Shved, Khimki ($12,000); Norris Cole, Villeurbanne ($8,700); Cory Higgins, Barcelona ($7,600); Tyler Dorsey, Tel Aviv ($6,200)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards
Walter Tavares, Real Madrid ($9,700)
There is going to be less production than normal out of the Real Madrid frontcourt with Llull and likely Alocen out. That should leave Tavares with more options on the offensive end. Khimki is the worst overall defense in the EuroLeague anyway. It doesn't much matter who is going against them. The two Real Madrid guards can score fairly well, but Tavares has the highest overall ceiling. The potential is there for him to dominate this game.
Nikola Mirotic, Barcelona ($9,000)
Mirotic was extremely efficient in his 22 minutes in Round 26. I would like to see the minutes climb up there a little more before jumping off the deep end, but $9,000 isn't all that deep. Mirotic is flashing that ceiling in limited minutes. When they turn him loose, he is going to be a huge bargain. I'll chalk up the lower minutes on Mirotic due to issues with fouls. That has been a concern in each of the last two rounds, but Mirotic is still worth the risk. If he plays 30 minutes, Mirotic could be the best value out there.
Gabriel Deck, Real Madrid ($7,400)
Deck can play on the wing as well, which makes him particularly valuable when Real Madrid is down a guard or two as is the case today. With Nikola Milutinov sidelined today you could see an uptick in production from guys like Tornike Shengelia, but Mike James is such a usage monster, that I still see Deck as more reliable. He's one of the most accomplished scorers on this team and they're going to need him down a couple of guards. Deck doesn't have the upside of Shengelia or Will Clyburn, but you also don't have to deal with the major risk either. It's a trade-off I'm willing to make.
Niels Giffey, Berlin ($5,200)
Giffey played just six minutes in his first action of the 2021 calendar year, but he put up eight DraftKings points in that short time in Round 26. Now he has a few more days of rest and a much better matchup incoming. Berlin still wont turn Giffey loose, but if he plays 10-12 minutes, he is the only guy in this range that is a legitimate threat at 20 DraftKings points. Of course, nothing is certain. This is only for those of you that are comfortable with taking huge risks.
Also consider: Jordan Mickey, Khimki ($10,000); Tornike Shengelia, CSKA ($7,900); Will Thomas, St. Petersburg ($7,200); Joel Bolomboy, CSKA ($6,300)
