DraftKings Plays Of The Week - Daily Fantasy Football Advice from a Milly Maker Winner

Brandon Aiyuk - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News

The day I took home $1.3 million on DraftKings was a dream come true. If you play DFS, you live for that moment! That Sunday, Week 3 of the 2021 NFL season, I felt like I had found the holy grail by winning the DraftKings Millionaire Maker tournament. It was surreal, exciting, and nerve-racking, but most of all, life-changing. Contrary to most DFS pros, I do not use a DFS lineup generator to create hundreds of lineups -- I roll with one lineup every week, created manually, and finalized every Sunday. You can scroll down to see my winning lineup from Week 3 below!

The same strategy that I used in Week 3 is applied here today in this article. I start by zoning in on my favorite games to stack, along with recognizing which positions offer the most value. Typically, if you want to win big, you need to take calculated risks -- but taking down first place doesn’t mean you need to avoid all the chalk. Simple rule: don’t fade players you love just because other people love them too. In this article I will give share with you the players I am targeting regardless of ownership. I am going to give you everything I have to help you win, so make to pay attention when you read this.

I have spent countless hours analyzing data and stats to help me win over the years. I use a bunch of different tools, read a ton of articles, and listen to fantasy football podcasts daily. I use every inch and every second to help me gather the information I need to help me succeed week in and week out. My goal here is to help you experience the success that I have had and turn it into some big cash as well. I can’t believe we are already in week 13, but here we are. Let’s get down to business!

DraftKings DFS Running Backs - Chalk Players To Target

RB Antonio Gibson $5,700 @ Las Vegas

Before the WFT bye week, there were some concerns with Gibson's health. Since then, he is averaging 27 opportunities per week, including 36 on Monday night against Seattle. J.D. McKissic has been ruled out for this week, and this should lead to another massive amount of opportunity for Gibson against a Raiders team that ranks in the bottom half against opposing Running Backs. Paying $5,700 for a workhorse running back against a poor defense is a recipe for a DFS smash spot. I was actually really surprised to see him in the middle of the pack in terms of projected ownership, and although there are a ton of great plays at the position this week, Gibson is my favorite one. Lock him in there.

RB Jamaal Williams $5,400

Continuing my trend of not spending up at the running back position this week, insert Jamaal Williams. D'Andre Swift has already been declared out this week with a shoulder injury. Why spend tons of salary for a workhorse when we have guys under $6K that will get plenty of opportunities on Sunday? Jared Goff is the dump-off king, and in a full-point PPR scoring format that makes Williams extremely valuable against the Vikings. He is going to eat on the ground as well - Minnesota gives up a league-high 4.8 YPC. This is another absolute smash spot that we have identified. We know the Lions' offense has been horrendous this season -- but Swift has been an RB1 all year, and Williams is more than capable of handling a big workload, as we remember in his time with the Packers.

RB Joe Mixon $8,100 vs. L.A. Chargers

OK, I have given you enough value plays to this point where we can now talk about a higher-end, more expensive, more reliable player. Joe Mixon has been nothing short of absolutely terrific this season. Over his last four games on DraftKings has scored as follows - 25.1 points, 28, points, 27.3 points, 35.3 points. Averaging 144 rushing yards on 29 carries in Cincinnati’s last 2 games, it's clear he is healthy, and the Bengals trust him with the rock throughout the game. The Chargers are getting gashed on the ground this season (4.7 YPC and 15 TD to opposing RB). I feel safe and sound having Mixon in my lineup this Sunday, and you should too.

DraftKings DFS Receivers - Chalk Players To Target

WR Brandon Aiyuk $5,600 @ Seattle

I am so excited about this. With Deebo Samuel out on Sunday, the 49ers are going to feature Aiyuk. He was already getting things going over the last five weeks, racking up 69 fantasy points (16th among all WR). He’s actually led the Niners in receiving over the last two weeks, putting up some of his best numbers of the season with Deebo on the field. Will they use him in a similar way they have used Samuel? I’m not sure, but Kyle Shannahan has always been creative with the weapons he has, so I am very confident in a blowup game from Aiyuk this week. The Seahawks Secondary now ranks in the bottom five in terms of coverage grade, so they are not a matchup I am scared to target. I cannot wait to see what the Niners have in store for Aiyuk this Sunday.

TE Foster Moreau $2,700 vs. Washington

Darren Waller has officially been ruled out for this week. When you can get a starting tight end for $2,700, I don’t care who it is, you should play him because tight end is the most volatile position in fantasy football. You can spend $6K on a tight end and he can bust, so just save the cash for the other positions. Also, Washington has allowed three different top-six tight ends in the last six weeks, and he correlates with our Gibson play, so it makes sense.
