DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/11/21): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 11th, 2021. Eric Moody provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The NBA schedule has eight games on the main slate for Sunday night. You'll have a plethora of players to choose from. Three games you'll definitely want exposure to are the Pacers versus the Grizzlies, Bulls versus the Timberwolves, and the Spurs versus the Mavericks. These matchups have a point total of 245 or higher. Here are three tips on how to attack the overall slate when assembling lineups.

First of all, it’s important to look at the pace and Vegas lines. Second, it’s also useful to understand the number of fantasy points a team gives up to a specific position. The final tip is to identify value plays that are critical on a slate of any size. You don’t have to necessarily go for the cheapest value, but you want to identify players who have a high floor and a high ceiling.

This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings on 4/11/21. You can also check out today’s FanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Damian Lillard - PG, POR vs MIA ($9,500)

Lillard scored 27 points and accumulated 10 assists in 34 minutes last Saturday against the Pistons. He has registered a double-double in three out of his last seven games. Lillard has the fourth-highest Usage Rate (32.1%) among point guards. This metric is an estimate of the percentage of team plays used by a player while he was on the floor. Lillard also has the fourth-highest Player Efficiency Rating (29.6). This metric sums up all a player's positive accomplishments, subtracts the negative accomplishments and returns a per-minute rating of a player's performance. Lillard's ceiling against the Heat is as high as Luka Doncic. He also has a lower salary.

C.J. McCollum - PG/SG, POR vs MIA ($8,000)

McCollum scored 26 points, amassed four rebounds and three assists against the Pistons last Saturday. He has scored 20 or more points in seven of his last nine games. McCollum is averaging career highs this season in points (23.7) and assists (4.7). He has the ninth highest Usage Rate (28.3%) and sixth-highest Player Efficiency Rating (26) among shooting guards. McCollum has one of the higher ceilings at the guard position on the main slate.

Darius Garland - PG, CLE vs NO ($6,800)

Garland scored 19 points, stockpiled eight assists, two rebounds, and two steals in 36 minutes last Saturday against the Raptors. He's averaged 40 DraftKings fantasy points per game over his last four games. Garland faces a Pelicans defense that has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to point guards this season.

Bonus Guards: Khris Middleton ($8,000), Anthony Edwards ($7,600), Ja Morant ($7,000), Norman Powell ($5,700)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Julius Randle - PF/C, NY vs TOR ($9,800)

Randle scored 15 points, collected 11 assists, 10 rebounds, and a steal across 38 minutes against the Grizzlies last Friday. He struggled from the field against Memphis while providing statistical value in other areas. Randle has finished with a triple-double in two out of his last games. He has a Usage Rate of 28.3% this season. Randle is having the best season of his NBA career. The Raptors are allowing the second-most DraftKings fantasy points per game to power forwards.

DeMar DeRozan - SF, SA vs DAL ($7,800)

DeRozan scored 24 points, racked up 12 assists, three rebounds, and a steal in 37 minutes against the Nuggets last Friday. This was his ninth double-double of the season. DeRozan's Usage Rate this season is only 25.2%, but he's been very efficient with a Player Efficiency Rating of 25.6. DeRozan finished with 56 DraftKings fantasy points back on March 10th against the Mavericks. He will have a similar ceiling against Dallas on Sunday night.

Kevin Love - PF/C, CLE vs NO ($6,500)

Love has been on a minutes restriction since returning to the back on March 29th. The veteran has been very productive scoring 27 or more DraftKings fantasy points in four out of five games. Love scored 18 points, three rebounds, one assist, and a steal against the Raptors last Saturday across 21 minutes. He's a nice value on the main slate.

Bonus Forwards: Domantas Sabonis ($8,700), OG Anunoby ($7,000), Robert Covington ($6,400), Thaddeus Young ($6,000)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns - C, MIN vs SAC ($10,600)

Towns scored 30 points, garnered 12 rebounds, seven assists, and a steal in 42 minutes against the Celtics last Friday night. He's scored 58 or more DraftKings fantasy points in four of his last five games. Towns has the fifth-highest Usage Rate (28.7) and third-highest Player Efficiency Rating (28.7) among centers. The Kings have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to centers this season.

Chris Boucher - C, TOR vs NY ($6,800)

Boucher scored nine points, two rebounds, three assists, four blocks, and a steal against the Cavaliers last Saturday night. This was a bit of a letdown for DFS players after his dominating 70 DraftKings fantasy points performance against the Bulls back on April 8th. The Raptors had to lean heavily on Boucher and Pascal Siakam against Chicago because they only had eight players available for the game. Boucher is a good spot to exceed expectations against the Knicks on Sunday night.

Bonus Centers: Nikola Vucevic ($9,100), Jonas Valanciunas ($7,400)
