The NBA schedule has 11 games on the main slate for Monday night. DFS players will have a plethora of players to choose from as you assemble lineups. Here are three tips on how to attack the overall slate when assembling lineups.
First of all, it’s important to look at the pace and Vegas lines. Second, it’s also useful to understand the number of fantasy points a team gives up to a specific position. The final tip is to identify value plays that are critical on a slate of any size. You don’t have to necessarily go for the cheapest value, but you want to identify players who have a high floor and a high ceiling.
This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings on 3/29/21. You can also check out today’s FanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards
Luka Doncic - PG/SF, DAL vs OKC ($10,800)
Doncic was not listed on the injury report ahead of tonight's game against the Thunder. He's averaged 35 minutes, 30 points, seven rebounds, nine rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game in the six games prior to being sidelined. Doncic leads all players with a Usage Rate of 36.1%. This metric is an estimate of the percentage of team plays used by a player while he was on the floor. Doncic has one of the highest ceilings of any player on the slate.
Fred VanVleet - PG/SG, TOR vs DET ($7,900)
Last night VanVleet scored 20 points, accumulated five rebounds, eight assists, and one steal against the Blazers. He's scored 40 or more DraftKings fantasy points in five of his last seven games. VanVleet is a nice value if you don't want to absorb the salary of Doncic, James Harden, or Paul George.
Jrue Holiday - PG/SG, MIL vs LAC ($7,200)
Holiday was not listed on the injury report ahead of tonight's game against the Clippers. He dealt with a knee injury. Holiday has averaged 33.3 minutes, 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game over his last six. He faces a Clippers team that has allowed the eighth-most DraftKings fantasy points per game to point guards.
Bonus Guards: Paul George ($8,500), Ja Morant ($7,500), Malcolm Brogdon ($7,000), Caris Levert ($7,000)

DraftKings DFS Forwards
Jimmy Butler - SF, MIA vs NY ($9,000)
Butler scored 20 points, stockpiled nine assists and five rebounds last Friday against the Hornets. He's averaged 34.2 minutes, 24 points, 8.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 2.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game entering Friday's matchup. Butler has the ninth highest Player Efficiency Rating (30.2) this season. This metric sums up all a player's positive accomplishments, subtracts the negative accomplishments and returns a per-minute rating of a player's performance. The only players with a higher ceiling than Butler on tonight's slate are Giannis Antetokounmpo and Doncic.
Pascal Siakam - PF/C, TOR vs DET ($7,800)
Siakam scored 26 points, amassed eight rebounds and two assists last night against the Blazers. He scored 39 or DraftKings fantasy points in five of his last seven games. Siakam faces a Pistons team that has allowed the fourth-most DraftKings fantasy points per game to power forwards this season.
Brandon Ingram - SF/PF, NO vs BOS ($7,700)
Ingram had 19 points, gathered four rebounds, and an assist last Saturday against the Mavericks. Zion Williamson's breakout has lowered Ingram's ceiling, but he's still a solid DFS option. Ingram has scored 47 or more fantasy points in two out of his last four games.
Bonus Forwards: Khris Middleton ($8,300), Kristaps Porzingis ($8,100), Jaylen Brown ($8,000), Jerami Grant ($7,500), OG Anunoby ($6,300)
DraftKings DFS Centers
Karl-Anthony Towns - C, MIN vs BKN ($9,900)
Towns had 27 points, hoarded 15 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in 33 minutes against the Rockets last Saturday. He's been a statistical monster since the All-Star break averaging 50 DraftKings fantasy points per game. The Nets have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to centers this season.
Bam Adebayo - C, MIA vs NY ($8,300)
Adebayo had 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals last Friday against the Hornets. This was his lowest DraftKings fantasy point output since March 16th. Adebayo has averaged 43.4 fantasy points per game over his last seven. He has the ninth highest Usage Rate (24.2%) and the sixth highest Player Efficiency Rating (26.6) this season.
Bonus Centers: Nikola Vucevic ($9,300), Jonas Valanciunas ($7,700), Mason Plumlee ($6,300)
