Are you guys crazy? You know today is Super Bowl party day, right? The NBA opted to have a small early slate, so everyone can watch basketball up until it's time to watch the Super Bowl. I don't really like the Patriots and I can't stand the Eagles, so this is a rough Sunday for me. I'll be rooting for the Patriots, though, so go Pats! Kind of.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/4/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Khris Middleton - SG/SF, at BKN ($7,100)
Middleton is a big part of the Bucks offense, playing minutes in the mid- to high-30s on a nightly basis. He has been an elite option on the road this season, averaging 21.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.6 steals in 37.4 minutes per game. He gets a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, who are a team that has been pushing the pace this season. Middleton comes with a surprisingly low price tag for his recent production. He can be used in all leagues today.
Tim Hardaway Jr. - SG/SF, vs ATL ($5,700)
Hardaway gets a matchup against his former team today. The Atlanta Hawks have struggled defensively this season, while also pushing the pace in games. That will give Hardaway a few extra shot opportunities, which only adds to his upside. He comes with quite a bit of risk, but he finally looks fully healthy after playing 34 minutes in his last game. It is a small slate, so he can be used in cash games if worse comes to worse, but he is a player that is best suited for tournaments.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF/PF, at BKN ($11,300)
Antetokounmpo recently returned from injury, but he has looked fully healthy since his return. In his first five games back, Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.0 points, 13.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game. He gets an elite matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, who he scored 78.25 fantasy points against earlier this season. Antetokounmpo is not going to come cheap, but it is a small slate, and it would be wise to get safe points where you can.
DeMarre Carroll - SF/PF, vs MIL ($5,500)
Carroll is coming off a terrible game against the Los Angeles Lakers, but he is still averaging 0.92 fantasy points per minute this season. He has played 35 and 36 minutes in his last two games, and he was able to score 33.75 fantasy points against the Milwaukee Bucks earlier this season. Carroll is far from a safe option, but he comes with a reasonable price tag, and has more than enough upside to pay it off today.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Jonas Valanciunas - C, vs MEM ($5,800)
Valanciunas has been playing at an elite level recently, averaging 18.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 26.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Over that span, he is averaging 1.5 fantasy points per minute, while scoring 30+ fantasy points in five of those games, including two games with 60.5 and 45.75 fantasy points. JV has also been a significantly better fantasy option at home this season, and he makes an elite option for a low price tag today.
