DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/15/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on January 15, 2018. Dennis Clausen's NBA DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and are enjoying the extra day off. We have a loaded slate, as always on MLK Day, with a handful of games kicking off early in the day, which is never a bad thing.

Below you will find my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/15/18. I'll provide my favorite players at each position in terms of value and their specific prices for both slates. Make sure to check player status ahead of tip-off as some picks could be based on injury.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. Also, give me a shout on Twitter @Den_Clausen. Let's get started!

DraftKings DFS Guards

DeMar DeRozan - SG/SF, @ PHI ($9,100)

DeMar DeRozan has been a monster all season, but has been especially monstrous as of late, averaging 27 points and 23 field goal attempts over the past five games. He put up 42 points against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday and continues to carry the load in the absence of Kyle Lowry.

Lou Williams - PG/SG, vs. HOU ($8,900)

With the Clippers having been down guys like Austin Rivers, Danilo Gallinari, Blake Griffin and Milos Teodosic at various times this season, Lou Williams has stepped up to the plate and contributed significantly all year. Even after 12 seasons, where most players tend to slow down, Williams has not and is averaging 23 points per game, the best of his career. He doesn't cost an arm and a leg to own and is usually guaranteed to put up a generous amount of buckets.

Goran Dragic - PG, @ CHI ($7,200)

The Bulls are posting some of the worst numbers to opposing playmakers all season, giving up an average of 26 points per game on 46 percent from the field. Goran Dragic has been playing really well and has been consistent on a team that has been plagued with injuries all season.

Other DraftKings DFS Guards to Consider: Russell Westbrook - PG, vs. SAC ($11,500), Chris Paul - PG/SG, @ LAC ($10,300), Stephen Curry - PG/SG, @ CLE ($10,200), Eric Gordon - SG, @ LAC ($7,200), Donovan Mitchell - PG/SG, vs. IND ($7,100), Josh Richardson - SG/SF, @ CHI ($5,800), Allen Crabbe - SG/SF - vs. NYK ($5,000), Tyrone Wallace - SG/SF, vs. HOU ($4,400)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF/PF, @ ATL ($8,800)

Kawhi Leonard appears to be good to go after after missing a few games with a shoulder issue. So good in fact, he dropped 19 points against Denver despite playing only 28 minutes. During his time on the floor, he also had eight boards, four steals and a block. His minutes are an issue, but he still managed to put up 43 fantasy points which is five times his value. He could easily hit that, or beyond, against Atlanta.

Carmelo Anthony - SF/PF, vs. SAC ($6,100)

Sacramento has been horrendous on the defensive end all season and as a result, look for Carmelo Anthony and company to do some damage. Though Melo has taken a back seat to Paul George and especially Russell Westbrook, he is a guy who has a big upside on Monday and won't cost you a ton either.

Other DraftKings DFS Forwards to Consider: LeBron James - SF/PF, vs. GSW ($11,100), Kevin Durant - SF/PF, @ CLE ($9,800), Blake Griffin - PF/C, vs. HOU ($9,100), Draymond Green - PF/C, @ CLE ($7,700), Kevin Love - PF/C - vs. GSW ($7,600), Paul George - SF, vs. SAC ($7,400), Ersan Ilyasova - PF/C , vs. SAS ($5,300), Montrezl Harrell - PF/C, vs. HOU ($4,600 - If DeAndre Jordan sits)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Enes Kaner - PF/C, @ BKN ($6,100)

Enes Kanter is always a threat and can walk away from virtually any contest with a double-double, which for those who don't know, DraftKings gives bonus points for such a thing. Brooklyn is a mess in the middle and whether they have Jarrett Allen, Tyler Zeller or Jahlil Okafor on the floor, they are all as equally unimpressive. Look for Kanter to have his way on Monday.

Other DraftKings DFS Centers to Consider: Joel Embiid - C, vs. TOR ($10,300), Steven Adams - C, vs. SAC ($6,200), Marcin Gortat - C, vs. MIL ($5,400)
