We have a 9 game NBA slate, which is a good size for a Friday and there are some very interesting options across the board. There are a number of injuries going around, so this should open up some value plays once we get the starting lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/12/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Jimmy Butler - SG, MIN @ NY (DK - $9,200)
Jimmy Buckets is getting hot right now, and in yet another good spot tonight. He is up against the Knicks who are giving up 40 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards, which is about average for the league. Butler has a 26.5% usage rate, and is averaging 1.09 fantasy points per minute this season, both of which are second highest on his team. He has scored 43 DraftKings points or more in eight of his last ten games, and is looking to be one of the safest cash game options on the slate. He has also taken 11 or more field goal attempts in each of his last 10 games, so plenty of looks on the ball, putting him in a good spot.
Andrew Harrison - PG, MEM @ DEN ($4,100)
Harrison offers a bit of salary relief tonight, which is never a bad thing when we have a full slate of games. He returned from his injury in the Grizzles most recent game where he played 30 minutes and put up 28 DraftKings points. Tonight he is in another good spot, as he is up against the Nuggets, who are giving up 49 DraftKings points per game to point guards, which is second worst in the league. Harrison is averaging 0.80 fantasy points per minute, which is solid for a player at his price, and will only need about 20 DraftKings points in order to reach 5x value.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Devin Booker - SF, PHO vs HOU (DK - $8,200)
Booker is the main guy on offense for the Suns, and has taken 17 or more shot attempts in eight of his last ten games. When a player is getting that type of volume, they have massive upside if they get hot from the field. He is up against the Rockets, who are giving up 42 DraftKings points per game to small forwards. This put him in a great spot to succeed, especially considering the fact this game has an over-under set at 227 points, you want exposure to this game in any format.
Domantas Sabonis - PF, IND vs CLE (DK - $6,400)
Sabonis got the start last game because Myles Turner is out, and is set to get the start again tonight. His price has jumped up a bit over the past week, so there is some merit to fading him. In his last game, he put up 24 DraftKings points in 30 minutes, which is solid production for a role player. He is up against the Cavs, who are giving up 48 points per game to power forwards, which is sixth worst in the league.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Marc Gasol - C, MEM @ DEN (DK - $7,500)
Gasol is simply too cheap considering the role he has for the Grizzles, so we want to take advantage of this before his prices increases. He has a 29% usage rate, and is averaging 1.11 fantasy points per minute this season. He is up against the Nuggets, who are giving up 52 DraftKings points per game to centers, which 11th worst in the league. Gasol has scored 49 DraftKings points in two straight games, so we want to ride the hot hand in this favorable match up.
