DraftKings DFS Point Guards
Kyle Lowry (vs IND, $8,000)
Isaiah Thomas looks to be the trendy pick, but don’t forget about our friend who plays up north. Lowry has chucked up a ton of shots this series, 59 to be exact, but is shooting only 32.2% from the field. At some point, that shooting percentage has to shoot back up to his 42.2% year average.
Dennis Schroder (vs BOS, $2,800)
The projection system loves Schroder from a points-per-dollar perspective. For salary cap relief, as well as some solid contributions in cash games, Schroder makes a lot of sense on DFS rosters for Tuesday night.
DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards
DeMar DeRozan (vs IND, $6,800)
There was a time this season in which DeRozan’s price tag exceeded $9,000. Sure, that was months ago, but the dude hasn’t up and forgot how to play basketball. Like his backcourt companion, DeRozan has taken a ton of shots (71 total) in this series, but is shooting well below his season average. So far, he is making only 29.6% in this series, compared to 43.9% for the year. At some point, these shots have to drop.
Evan Turner (at ATL, $6,600)
The injury to Avery Bradley has really opened things up for Marcus Smart and Evan Turner. Turner specifically has seen a dramatic increase in fantasy production, as he has been stuffing the stat sheet with oodles of rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. However, for just $200 more, DeRozan’s roster makes a lot more sense for GPPs.
DraftKings DFS Small Forwards
Paul George (at TOR, $9,400)
The only thing that can slow down PG13 right now, is not seeing any court time. He only played 35 minutes last game and saw a significant decrease in production. Game Five figures to be a bit of a closer game, thus his likelihood of getting more playing time.
DraftKings DFS Power Forwards
Paul Millsap (vs BOS, $8,700)
Millsap was a one man wrecking crew in Game Four, despite his team getting outplayed in five quarters. Honestly, this is what we envisioned from Millsap against the weak Boston front court, so it was kind of surprising to see it take four games for him to get in a groove.
Jonas Jerebko (at ATL, $4,000)
Well, well, well. Look what the Celtics have found off the bench?! Jerebko is averaging over 26 minutes per game in the series and has recorded two straight double-doubles. The Hawks may have the 2016 version of the Twin Towers in Millsap and Al Horford, but they haven’t found an answer in their second unit to slow down Jerebko.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Al Horford (vs BOS, $7,800)
Boston’s frontcourt has been a trainwreck defensively for most of the season. In fact, I was about as convinced as they come before the series started that Horford and Millsap would roll through Jared Sullinger and Co. It took a while, but it appears the pseudo Twin Towers are primed to dominate a game against the Celtics. Oh, and pay no attention to that “Questionable” next Horford’s name. He will play.
