This is an interesting slate. There are plenty of high priced option, but very few value plays. That means we will have to take the value where we can get it, even if they aren't the safest options on the slate.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/2/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Jimmy Butler – SG/SF, at NO ($9,700)
At this point, there is no reason to avoid Butler. He has seen his usage rating increase with Dwyane Wade out, and he has scored at least 45 fantasy points in each of his last eight games. He’s taking a ton of shots, but he’s also contributing in multiple other categories. He’s still surprisingly cheap, especially in a fast paced matchup against the Pelicans tonight. Butler should be one of the first players inserted into your lineups, especially because he’s guard and forward eligible.
Jeremy Lin – PG, vs ATL ($6,200)
Lin has cooled off a bit in his last two games, but he’s locked into big minutes, which is more important at this point than the production. He’s averaging 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.1 steal in only 23.3 minutes per game this season, and Lin should see 30 or more minutes tonight. He gets a great matchup against the Hawks, and Lin makes a great option in all leagues.
Spencer Dinwiddie – PG, vs ATL ($3,600)
Dinwiddie is still an extremely cheap option, especially for his recent production. He has scored at least 20 fantasy points in six of his last seven games, including two games with 30 or more fantasy points. He hasn’t been playing big minutes, but he also hasn’t needed them. He also gets a great matchup against the Hawks tonight, and Dinwiddie is a great option in all leagues because of his ridiculously low price tag.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
DeMarcus Cousins – PF/C, vs CHI ($10,200)
Cousins struggled a bit when he was first traded to New Orleans, but he finally looks completely comfortable in the offense. He’s averaging 34.0 points, 12.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 50 fantasy points in each of his last four games, including two games with 70 or more fantasy points. He has played extremely well against the Bulls in a couple matchups this season, and Cousins can be used in all leagues tonight.
James Johnson – PF/C, vs DEN ($6,400)
Johnson is far from a consistent option, but comes with more than enough upside to be considered tonight. He gets a great matchup against the Nuggets, and Johnson is the type of player that tends to thrive in fast paced games. He scored 10 points with seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and three steals against Denver earlier this season, as well. He makes a great option in tournaments on the slate tonight.
Kenneth Faried – PF, at MIA ($5,000)
Faried started in the Nuggets last game, and he scored 18 points with 13 rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal in 32 minutes of action. If he draws the start again tonight, he will have no problems exceeding value again. He gets a tough matchup against the Heat, but he played well against them earlier this season. His value is completely dependent on his starting status, so keep an eye out for that before tip-off.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Myles Turner – C, at CLE ($5,900)
Turner has scored less than 20 fantasy points in two of his last 10 games, but he has also scored at least 30 fantasy points in eight of those games, including a pair of games with at least 40 fantasy points. He’s averaging 12.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.5 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game over the last 10 days, and he has been playing well enough to be used in all leagues tonight.
Robin Lopez – C, at NO ($4,600)
Lopez has been playing a bigger role in the Chicago offense with Dwyane Wade out, and he has looked outstanding, aside from a rough game against the Sixers. Lopez has double double potential, but he can also add assists, blocks, and steals to his lines. He gets a matchup against a fast paced Pelicans team, which means there will be plenty of opportunities for him to hit value. Lopez is still cheap, and he’s a great option in all leagues.
