It's a bit surprising that we have such a large slate tonight after a huge slate on Friday. Regardless, it's always a great time when there are plenty of options to choose from, and that is the case tonight.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/03/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. DraftKings DFS Guards
Kyle Lowry – PG, vs ATL ($7,800)
Lowry has been one of the most consistent options in the NBA recently. He has been scoring 40 or more fantasy points on a nightly basis recently, but he comes with much higher upside. He gets a decent matchup against the Hawks tonight, and Lowry had somewhat of a small rest last night, as the Raptors blew out the Lakers. He should be able to continue his recent hot streak, and Lowry can be used in all leagues tonight.
Dennis Schroder – PG, @TOR ($6,000)
Schroder has been an elite fantasy option on a per minute basis over his last five games. He has displayed elite upside, and he should be well rested, as he only played 25 minutes last night. He’s scoring extremely well, but he has also been assisting the ball, while adding a few extra stats in the other three categories. He gets a great matchup against the Raptors, who have struggled against the point guard this season, and Schroder is cheap enough to be used in all leagues.
Sergio Rodriguez – PG, vs BOS ($4,900)
Rodriguez has been starting for the injured Jerryd Bayless, who will be reevaluated today. If Bayless is out, Rodriguez will be locked into big minutes, and can be used in all leagues. If Bayless is starting, Rodriguez is more of a tournament option. Rodriguez has looked great when playing big minutes this season, as he’s a player that can score and assist the ball equally well. He gets a decent matchup against the Celtics tonight, as well, but keep an eye on Bayless’ status before lock.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Kevin Durant – SF/PF, vs PHO ($10,700)
This is the first time I feel Durant is priced appropriately this season. He’s coming off a huge 72.25 fantasy point performance in a double overtime game against the Rockets, but he’s averaging over 50 fantasy points per game on the season. He has proven to be a five category contributor with elite scoring potential. He’s averaging nearly 55 fantasy points per game against the Suns this season, and they don’t have anyone that is going to be able to guard him tonight. Durant finally doesn’t come cheap, but he can still be used in all leagues.
Danilo Gallinari – SF, @UTA ($5,200)
Gallinari has looked healthy since returning from injury, as he seems to be locked into big minutes. His price has dropped because of the matchup against the Jazz, but Utah has struggled a bit against the small forward this season. Gallinari was able to score 31 fantasy points against them in their only matchup, and he has more than enough upside to be used in tournaments for his low price tag tonight.
James Johnson – PF, @POR ($4,900)
Johnson is a tough player to roster, but he’s the type of guy that can win you a large tournament. He has scored 40.5 and 35.25 fantasy points in his last two games, but he only scored 10.25 fantasy points in the game before those. He doesn’t need big minutes to score a ton of fantasy points, but he also isn’t a lock to play well if he is given big minutes. He is averaging 27.4 minutes per game over the last 10 days, and he has been benefitting from the injuries to the Heat. He also gets a matchup against a fast paced Blazers team, and Johnson is a high upside tournament option.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Rudy Gobert – C, vs DEN ($6,300)
Gobert has been playing well recently, as he has double doubled in six of his last eight contests. He can also add an elite amount of blocks on any given night, as he has at least two blocks in eight consecutive games. He’s still fairly cheap for his upside, but he does come with a bit of risk. Gobert gets a great matchup against the Nuggets tonight, as they have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. It would be surprising if Gobert doesn’t double double tonight, and he’s a high upside option.
Mason Plumlee – C, vs MIA ($6,000)
Plumlee’s price tag is finally getting closer to where it should be, but it’s still a bit too cheap. Plumlee has been extremely consistent recently, as he has scored 25 or more fantasy points in more than 10 consecutive games, including at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last four starts. He gets a good matchup against the Heat tonight, and Miami has struggled against the center this season. Plumlee has also been a slightly better fantasy option at home this season, and he can be used in all leagues.
