We get a huge slate tonight, as we generally do on Friday's. That means there are a ton of elite options to go along with some bottom of the barrel type of players, as well. Some of the best lineups take the mid-priced players, who have the ability to score like elite guys, which is always an interesting strategy on a slate like tonight.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/02/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. DraftKings DFS Guards
John Wall – PG, @SA ($8,400)
The Wizards see their price tags drop every time they play the Spurs, even though San Antonio has struggled quite a bit this season. Wall has scored 50 or more fantasy points in five of his last six games, although he did struggle against the Spurs in their last matchup. San Antonio currently ranks last in the NBA against the point guard, and Wall is entirely too cheap. He can be used in all leagues.
Rajon Rondo – PG, vs CLE ($6,500)
Rondo has been playing extremely well recently. He has scored at least 30 fantasy points in five consecutive games, and he’s averaging 9.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has displayed triple double potential, although he has not been able to put it all together yet. He gets a great matchup against the Cavs, who have struggled against the point guard this season, and Rondo can be used in all leagues.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – SG, @ATL ($5,200)
Caldwell-Pope could be the most undervalued fantasy player in the NBA right now. He’s playing big minutes for the Pistons, and he has scored 30 or more fantasy points in five of his last six games. He has been able to score more than 40 fantasy points in each of his last two games, and he gets a great matchup against the Hawks tonight. He’s still extremely cheap, and KCP can be used in all leagues tonight.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
DeMarcus Cousins – PF/C, @BOS ($10,700)
Cousins has been on fire for the Kings recently. He has scored at least 50 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games. He has been a double double machine recently, but he can also contribute in each of the other categories. He still isn’t too expensive, and he gets a great matchup against the Celtics tonight. There are a few elite options on this slate, and Cousins is one of the safest ones. He can be used in all leagues.
Kevin Love – PF/C, @CHI ($8,000)
Love looked to be the outsider on the Cavs team, but he has finally found his footing this season. He’s averaging a double double this season, and he’s also a great scorer. He hasn’t been playing big minutes recently, but he is averaging nearly 50 fantasy points over the last 10 days. He’s still surprisingly cheap, and he has been playing more than well enough for all leagues tonight.
Brandon Ingram – SF, @TOR ($4,400)
Ingram hasn’t been producing at an elite level this season, but he has been given the opportunities. He’s averaging more than 10 shots per game over the last 10 days, and he’s averaging slightly over 20 fantasy points per game over that span. He can contribute in multiple categories because of his length and athleticism, and he gets a good matchup against the Raptors tonight. Ingram isn’t safe enough to be used in cash games, but he’s a solid salary relief play in tournaments.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Anthony Davis – PF/C, vs LAC ($11,700)
If you have the money to pay up for Anthony Davis, it would be wise to use it. He has been as hot as anyone in the NBA, as he has scored at least 60 fantasy points in each of his last six healthy games. He also has two games with 70 or more fantasy points over that span. He gets a tough matchup against the Clippers, but Davis is a matchup proof player, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
Marcin Gortat – C, @SA ($5,200)
Gortat’s price tag is a bit confusing tonight. It recently dropped because of the matchup against the Spurs, but they have struggled to guard the center this season. Gortat has scored 25 or more fantasy points in 10 consecutive games, but he also comes with elite upside. He doesn’t need many fantasy points to hit value at his current price, and he can be used in all leagues at this discount.
