DraftKings DFS Guards
Giannis Antetokounmpo - PG, MIL ($8,800)
Antetokounmpo is one of the most versatile players in the NBA, and that was on full display in his first game of the season. He played point guard for the Bucks, and he took 21 shots against the Hornets. Tonight, he will be playing against the Nets, which is a much better matchup for Antetokounmpo. He's a walking triple double, but he can also contribute steals and blocks. His price tag is surprisingly low for his upside, and he can be used in all leagues.
Tim Frazier - PG, NO ($5,600)
Frazier has been playing big minutes for the Pelicans with Jrue Holiday out due to personal reasons. This isn't the easiest matchup for Frazier against San Antonio, but he has proven that he can score fantasy points against anyone when given the minutes. The Pelicans don't have many offensive options, and Frazier is the type of player that can score in a hurry. He may be best suited for tournaments due to the matchup, but he's a great option on this slate.
Sergio Rodriguez - PG, PHI ($4,100)
The Sixers did not tip their cap at their rotation before the first game, but Rodriguez played much more than people thought he was going to. He nearly double doubled against the Thunder in 32 minutes. He is still priced extremely low, and he should have very few problems hitting value on this slate. He's one of the players that starts at 12:30, and he should be used if you're using the early slate.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Anthony Davis - PF/C, NO ($10,700)
Davis is making his case for the MVP award this season. He is a player that can contribute in each of the five categories, which gives him elite upside. He gets a tough matchup against the Spurs, but Davis is the type of player that can score fantasy points against anyone. He's also the main focus of the Pelicans offense, and he should continue to shoot as much as he wants on a nightly basis. Davis can be used in all leagues.
Kevin Love - PF, CLE ($7,000)
Love struggled to gel with the Cavs for quite some time, but he looks much more comfortable this season. Through his first two games, he has two double doubles with a few extra stats. Love was once one of the best rebounding big men in the NBA a few years ago, and he gets a great matchup against the Magic, who are a team that struggle to rebound the ball. Love's price tag will likely take a jump soon, but for now, he can be used in all leagues.
Lance Stephenson - SF, NO ($3,300)
Stephenson looks like he's earning a bigger role for the Pelicans, but his price tag hasn't moved much. He is a player that can score in multiple categories, but he is far from a lock to dominate in each of the categories. He gets a tough matchup against the Spurs, but Stephenson is the type of player that should easily hit value for this price tag. He should be the staple of lineups on this slate.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Dwight Howard - C, ATL ($7,500)
It was expected that Howard would have a great season for the Hawks and he got off to a hot start. He posted a huge double double against the Wizards, and he gets a much better matchup against the Sixers today. Howard is an elite rebounder in the NBA, and he should have plenty of double doubles this season. He's another player in the 12:30 game, and he can be used in all leagues for his price tag, as well.
Jusuf Nurkic - C, DEN ($6,100)
Nurkic's price tag is one of the most surprising on the slate. He has elite fantasy point per minute averages, and he scored 40.25 fantasy points in only 26 minutes in his first game. He's starting for the Nuggets, and he should see over 30 minutes per game fairly often. He gets a great matchup against the Blazers, who have struggled against big men this season. Nurkic has tremendous upside, and he is an elite option on this slate.
