DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Rich Hill, LAD (vs. SD) - $9,500
Hill was originally slated to start last night's contest, but he was instead moved back to Saturday. The extra rest should only help Hill, who is facing one of the weakest lineups in the Padres. The Padres have just a .299 wOBA against left-handed pitching, and their 23.7% K-rate is fourth-highest. With a 27.3% K-rate of his own, Hill has lots of upside for this start.
Patrick Corbin, ARI (vs. COL) - $10,400
There aren't a lot of value plays that I love at starting pitcher tonight, so locking down an ace like Corbin might be a good idea. Corbin has an elite 31.0% K-rate and a 2.44 FIP - with those numbers, you'd think he'd be more expensive. The Rockies are a weak lineup on the road, with a .289 wOBA, and Arizona is a pitcher-friendly park.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
1B - Anthony Rizzo, CHC (@ CWS) - $4,300
Even in a "down year" for Rizzo, he's still mashing right-handed pitching with a 138 wRC+ and more walks than strikeouts. He'll have the opportunity for lots of runs and RBIs batting third for the Cubs against Lucas Giolito. Giolito has a 5.77 ERA on the year, so I would advise grabbing as many Cubs as you can afford.
2B - Rougned Odor, TEX (vs. SEA) - $3,900
Odor has cooled off lately, but we've all seen the kind of stretches that he can have with his power/speed combo. He's worth a look at a depressed price at home in Texas, which is one of the best offensive environments in the league. Try Odor out in GPP contests for his upside.
3B - Matt Chapman, OAK (vs. MIN) - $4,500
Chapman has been crushing the ball over the last month, batting .316 with a .934 OPS and six homers. He should continue to produce out of the A's two-hole against Twins starter Chase De Jong, who has a 5.80 ERA through nine major league appearances.
SS - Tim Anderson, CWS (vs. CHC) - $3,900
Anderson is a fantastic option when he's facing left-handed pitchers, as that means he'll be leading off for the White Sox. Anderson has been a fantasy catalyst with 19 homers and 26 steals this year, and he's at a very affordable price.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Nelson Cruz, SEA (@ TEX) - $4,600
Cruz eats left-handed pitchers for breakfast - he's got a monster 147 wRC+ against southpaws. Texas is one of the best power-hitting parks in all of baseball, and Cruz gets to face Mike Minor and his 1.42 HR/9.
Scott Schebler, CIN (@ MIA) - $4,200
Schebler will be leading off for the Reds, which means that he will be able to maximize his number of opportunities to produce. Take him against Jose Urena, owner of a 4.21 ERA.
