As is the case most Wednesdays, we have games that are broken down into two slates. There is a smaller early slate with a 10 game late (main) slate. The larger later slate is the one we will be focusing on here.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/19/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Walker Buehler - P, vs COL ($11,300)
Buehler has caught fire over his last 10 starts, recording a 3-3 record with a 2.35 ERA over that span. He has also scored 27+ fantasy points in four of his last six starts. Buehler has been a significantly better option in Los Angeles, and he gets a matchup against the Colorado Rockies, who have struggled at times on the road this season. Buehler is a -204 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs tonight, as well.
Robbie Erlin - P, vs SF ($4,600)
Erlin has struggled quite a bit this season, but he ha found success in San Diego. Through 18 home games (four starts), he owns an 0-3 record with a 2.80 ERA. He's coming off of an 18.4 fantasy point performance against the Texas Rangers, and he gets a solid matchup against the San Francisco Giants tonight. Erlin is also a -142 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs, and he barely needs any fantasy points to his value at his current price tag.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Ryan O'Hearn - 1B, at PIT ($4,100)
O'Hearn has caught fire for Kansas City recently, as he's hitting .333 with a .697 slugging percentage and a 1.160 OPS over his last 10 games. He has also posted 41% hard-hit and 37% fly ball rates with a 93 mph exit velocity over that span. O'Hearn has been an elite option against right-handed pitching, as well, owning 0.32 wOBA and 0.243 ISO differentials against righties.
Cory Spangenberg - 2B, vs SF ($3,200)
Spangenberg has been ice cold recently, but he has performed well at home this season. Through 48 games in San Diego, he's hitting .257 with a .478 slugging percentage and an .811 OPS. He gets a solid matchup against Chris Stratton tonight, and Spangenberg has been a significantly more consistent option against right-handed pitching.
Matt Chapman - 3B, vs LAA ($4,400)
Chapman is hitting second in the Oakland A's offense. This gives him plenty of at-bats to find success, which has been the case recently. Over his last 10 games, he's hitting .293 with seven extra-base hits and 10 RBIs. Chapman gets a solid matchup against Felix Pena, and he makes a consistent option tonight.
Nick Ahmed - SS, vs CHC ($4,100)
Ahmed is a player that can always be considered against left-handed pitching, as he owns 0.052 wOBA and 0.09 ISO differentials against lefties. His recent numbers don't pop off the page, but he owns 45% hard-hit and 34% fly ball rates with a 93 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He gets a tough matchup against Cole Hamels, but Ahmed comes with quite a bit of upside.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Curtis Granderson - OF, vs CIN ($4,800)
Granderson has been playing well recently, as he's hitting .316 with a .737 slugging percentage and a 1.255 OPS over his last 10 games. He gets a great matchup against Matt Harvey, and Granderson owns 0.142 wOBA and 0.139 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. He's also leading off for one of the top projected offenses on the slate.
Alex Gordon - OF, at PIT ($3,900)
Gordon continues to play at a high level. He's averaging 10.2 fantasy points per game over his last 10 games, as he's hitting .306 with five extra-base hits, nine RBIs, and three steals over that span. He gets a solid matchup against Chris Archer, who has struggled at times against left-handed batters. Gordon is one of the safest options on the slate, but also comes with quite a bit of upside.
