DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Chris Sale - P, vs HOU ($9,000)
Sale is on the short list for best pitcher in baseball after his monster 2018 campaign, where he posted a 1.98 FIP with a 38.4% K-rate. He deserves to be the most expensive pitcher on the slate, but it's actually manageable to get Sale in your lineups at this price. The Astros are a tough lineup, but there's no easy opponent left in the postseason, so start your studs.
Hyun-Jin Ryu - P, at MIL ($7,300)
Ryu quietly posted some outstanding numbers of his own through 15 starts this year, finishing with a 2.45 Deserved Run Average. He was untouchable in the Division Series against Atlanta, throwing seven scoreless innings with eight strikeouts. The Brewers are a weaker lineup against left-handed pitching, and Ryu is at a fantastic value with his price tag.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Cody Bellinger - 1B/OF, at MIL ($4,500)
Dodgers bats are likely your best bet on Saturday as they take on the weakest pitcher on the slate, Wade Miley. Miley finished the year with a poor 4.66 FIP and an extremely low 14.8% K-rate. Miller Park is a very hitter-friendly park, so Bellinger has lots of power potential.
Jose Altuve - 2B, at BOS ($4,500)
If you're brave enough to roll with any Astros hitters against Chris Sale, Altuve is my favorite of the bunch. He's in a valuable spot batting second and should get the ball into play - Altuve had just a 13.2% K-rate in regular season play.
Mike Moustakas - 3B, vs LAD ($3,900)
I like Moustakas here simply because he's so cheap. On a slate like this, he's virtually a punt play that can get you more expensive players into your lineup. You can do much worse than a six-hitter when you're looking for guys around this price.
Manny Machado - SS, at MIL ($5,200)
Machado is one of my favorite elite plays as he bats cleanup for LA. Manny dropped 37 homers with 14 steals in 2018 and has been on fire this postseason.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
J.D. Martinez - OF, vs HOU ($5,300)
If you're looking to take advantage of the hitter-friendly environment in Boston, Martinez is your play. His power upside is unparalleled, and he's a good centerpiece if you're looking to stack Red Sox. Teammates Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers are cheap options to pair with Martinez.
Lorenzo Cain - OF, vs LAD ($4,200)
Cain demolished left-handed pitching to the tune of a 166 wRC+ this year. He'll be leading off for the Brewers, which will give him plenty of opportunities to produce.
