DraftKings College Basketball DFS Lineup Picks for 2/8/22 - CBB Daily Fantasy Advice

We have another big slate with 12 games tonight. We mostly have the SEC and Big Ten(14) tonight with the Big 12(10) going heavier tomorrow. Since I don't use many Big 12(10) players anyway because of the defense played in that league, I'll take on tonight's for my mid-week college basketball DFS offerings. We start a bit early at 6pm eastern with Clemson hosting North Carolina. UConn hosts Marquette a half-hour later.

We really get underway at the 7:00 hour with Kentucky heading to South Carolina, Auburn heading to Fayetteville, LSU heading west to College Station, Michigan State hosting Wisconsin, and the only Big 12(10) offering with Iowa State at West Virginia. We have to wait until 8:30 for St John's to host Villanova. 9:00 brings Northwestern hosting Indiana, Penn State hosting Michigan, and Purdue hosting Illinois. We top it off out west with Stanford hosting UCLA. This is going to be a good one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/8/22 starting at 6 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Johnny Davis, Wisconsin ($8,300)

Davis feels too cheap here. Sure, the Penn State game was a bit of a letdown, but what were you expecting when there were only 100 combined points scored? The minutes were there. The shots were there. The peripherals were strong. I'm not bailing on Davis. He put up 40.75 DraftKings points against the Spartans the first time around on January 21 and he's $1,300 cheaper than he was for that game. I'm very close to being all-in on Davis.

JD Notae, Arkansas ($8,000)

Notae hit value against Mississippi State over the weekend even though he only made four of his 16 shots from the floor. His peripherals are as good as anyone, so even if he has another off day against the top-ranked team, Notae should still be worth this price tag. I am worried about the ceiling against a team like Auburn though. Notae is probably more of a cash play on this slate.

R.J. Cole, Connecticut ($7,500)

I'm a huge fan of Cole at this price. He has four straight games of more than 35 DraftKings points. The last two have come against two pretty good teams in Creighton and Villanova. If he can hang 36 on Nova, I'm not worried at all about a Marquette team that surrendered 36.5 DraftKings points to Cole in 32 minutes back on December 21.

Leaky Black, North Carolina ($5,400)

Black had a rough end of 2021 and beginning of 2022, but he has started to play big minutes again lately. Over the last five games, Black has played 188 minutes and scored at least 17 DaftKings points in each. He's never been a big scorer, but Black contributes in all categories and is an active player. He doesn't have a high ceiling, but the floor is nice for a value play since his minutes are back to what they were last year.

Allen Flanigan, Auburn ($4,800)

It has been a long road back for Flanigan since his Achilles injury last year, but he has worked his way back to the starting lineup for the Tigers. He still only plays around 25-30 minutes per game, but his production is starting to get back up to the level that we would expect. This should be another high-scoring contest for Auburn against an Arkansas team that likes to get up and down as well. They're going to need Flanigan's scoring.

Also consider: Jaden Ivey, Purdue ($8,400); Johnny Juzang, UCLA ($7,400); Xavier Johnson, Indiana ($7,100); RJ Davis, North Carolina ($6,500); Eli Brooks, Michigan ($5,400); Julian Roper, Northwestern ($3,400)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($9,500)

Tshiebwe may not win the Naismith Award this year, but he should for DFS purposes. He is averaging 43.1 DraftKings points per game this year. He has at least a dozen rebounds in every game since the calendar flipped to January. He has eight games over 50 DraftKings points in 21 contests this year. Tshiebwe have at least 40 DraftKings points in five straight, which is a nice feat in the heart of SEC play. There's a chance at a huge game against South Carolina tonight.

Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($8,500)

Bacot was held to just five rebounds in 30 minutes in the blowout loss to Duke on Saturday and his price plummeted. This is a good time to jump on board. Bacot hadn't been in single digits for rebounds since December 11 against Elon prior to Saturday's debacle. I like Bacot to get back on track against Clemson. The Tigers are solid up front, but Bacot still has 12 double-doubles in the last 14 games. I'll take that for the price if I can't get up to Tshiebwe.

Tari Eason, LSU ($7,800)

Eason has started four straight for the Tigers and has 122.5 DraftKings points in that span. The first of those starts was against this same A&M team, where Eason picked up 32.25 DraftKings points despite cramping issues throughout the game limiting his minutes a bit. Eason has at least 25 DraftKings points in every game since January 12 and has a plus matchup. He's a strong mid-range play tonight.

Steven Crowl, Wisconsin ($5,200)

Crowl led the Badgers in points and assists in the ugly game against Penn State over the weekend. It was his third time scoring in double figures in the last four games. The assists appear to be an outlier, but Crowl gets a lot of minutes off the bench, takes good shots, and is a decent rebounder. You can do worse for a value play, especially if he's able to build off the nice all-around game against Penn State.

Naz Bohannon, Clemson ($4,400)

With Hunter Tyson out of the picture for the foreseeable future with a broken collarbone, Bohannon has picked up the slack. He has played 30 minutes in each of the last two games with Tyson out and amassed 44.75 DraftKings points. Not too shabby for a guy in this price range. I like Bohannon in any type of build. We need his value in any format tonight.

Also consider: Walker Kessler, Auburn ($8,900); Jaylin Williams, Arkansas ($7,900); PJ Hall, Clemson ($7,200); Race Thompson, Indiana ($6,900); Gabe Osabuohien, West Virginia ($6,000); Greg Lee, Penn State ($5,400); James Keefe, Stanford ($4,800)
