The holidays are over, but the crazy scheduling in the college basketball world will continue through the rest of this week before conference play begins in earnest. That's not to say that we don't have a really good one on DraftKings tonight. We tip this off with Villanova and UConn from Hartford. That's quite a start! The 7 pm hour gives us Kentucky in Columbia to take on Missouri, Wichita State heading to Orlando to take on Central Florida, and Florida in Auburn to take on the Tigers.
We have to wait two more hours for the next tips, but they will be worth it! Arkansas heads to Red Stick to take on another set of Tigers. Alabama heads to StarkVegas to take on the Bulldogs. Xavier heads to Queens to take on the Red Storm. We end this out with Houston in Tulsa to take on the Dust Devils. This has the makings of a nice slate!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/28/22, starting at 6:30 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
D'Moi Hodge, Missouri ($8,100)
Not only is Hodge an outstanding shooter from anywhere on the court, but he is also very active defensively as well. Hodge has at least three made triples in every game since November 13 when he played just 19 minutes in a blowout. He has multiple steals in three straight games and eight of 12 games this season. He has a high floor even against tough opponents. He has at least 30 DraftKings points in eight of the last nine games.
Wendell Green, Auburn ($6,500)
Green suffered an ankle injury in the loss to USC and didn't start the Washington game last week because of that ankle. He was also way off in that game. Green hit just two of his nine field goal attempts, but thanks to his diligence at getting to the foul line in his 21 minutes, he still scored in double digits in five straight (completed) games. I'll bank on Green getting right from the floor against the Gators at home.
Ithiel Horton, Central Florida ($5,300)
Horton is a good shooter most of the time, making him a capable scorer along with his aggravating defense. He's going to have a hard time against a guard-dominant team like the Shockers, but I believe that's built into his price. Horton has been on fire from deep, hitting nine of 18 in the last two games. He's worth a flier in any format at this price.
Jaden Bradley, Alabama ($4,600)
Bradley has played around 25 minutes per game with Nimari Burnett out. He has proven to be a capable scorer most nights and he looks like a better passer than I initially thought. There's a lot of upside for Bradley at this price. Don't be too concerned with his off shooting day last week against Jacksonville State. He still put up a solid stat line for fantasy purposes.
Also consider: Souley Boum, Xavier ($8,900); Andre Jackson, Connecticut ($7,800); Jaykwon Walton, Wichita State ($6,900); Marcus Sasser, Houston ($6,700); Adam Kunkel, Xavier ($5,600); DeAndre Gholston, Missouri ($5,100); Dylan Addae-Wusu, St. John's ($4,000); Kyle Lofton, Florida ($3,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($10,100)
The only thing that has been able to slow down Tshiebwe is blowout wins. He has topped 40 DraftKings points twice and 50 three times already despite only playing more than 30 minutes five times. He should play 30 in this one as a scrappy Missouri team should keep this close. However, they won't be able to keep Tshiebwe off the boards or off the scoreboard. I see a 50 in his future tonight.
Noah Clowney, Alabama ($7,000)
Brandon Miller gets most of the attention (as he should) for the Tide, but I could argue that they wouldn't be where they are without the outstanding play of the freshman Clowney in the month of December. In the four games this month, Clowney has 132 DraftKings points in four December games. He has done it all. He has scored efficiently, crashed the glass by clearing at least nine rebounds in every December game, and picked up a handful of blocks and assists along the way. Miller has the higher ceiling, but I think Clowney gets you the most bang for your buck.
Derek Fountain, LSU ($6,200)
Fountain has 118 points in the four games since LSU added him to the starting five. That feels like a good decision for the team and DFS players alike. Fountain doesn't have a ton of upside, but he might be the best rebounder on a team full of good ones and has proven to be an efficient scorer. I will keep riding Fountain as long as he remains a starter.
Brandon Suggs, Central Florida ($3,800)
The Knights have tried a few options to pick up the slack with C.J. Walker out. Lately, it has been Suggs and he has been the most effective option they have used so far. At this price, if you get somewhere in double figures, you're pretty happy with that output. Suggs has hit double figures in all but three games this season. Suggs is still playing around 20 minutes per game when he stays out of foul trouble, so he's fairly safe for a value play.
Also consider: Joel Soriano, St. John's ($9,100); Adama Sanogo, Connecticut ($8,700); Zach Freemantle, Xavier ($7,500); Brandon Slater, Villanova ($6,500); Chris Moore, Auburn ($5,000); James Rojas, Wichita State ($4,600)
