Considering how awful the Thursday night games have been in the NFL, I'm going out on the shortest limb in history and saying that college football is going to be where the action is! We only have two games tonight, but we have a couple of exciting ones.
The early game features UTEP heading across the state to Houston to take on a Rice team that just got goosed by Charlotte. A half-hour later, we head east to the Fun Belt where App State heads to the beach at Conway to take on the Chanticleers. This is a sneaky-good slate!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/3/22 locking at 7 pm eastern time. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Grayson McCall, Coastal Carolina (7,500)
McCall is basically the One-Man Gang this year, but that's a good thing for DFS purposes. Despite getting harassed all season long, McCall has still only turned the ball over twice all season. Once on an interception and the other on a fumble. Both were well over a month ago. McCall has the highest floor on the slate, but Brice might have the higher ceiling if App State decides to throw it in this game.
TJ McMahon, Rice ($6,400)
Don't blame the Rice loss to Charlotte last week on McMahon. He threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns even though he did throw one interception. The interceptions are a bit of a buzzkill, but McMahon has the highest rushing upside on the slate and is still throwing for good yardage. We can live with a couple of interceptions if we have to.
Also consider: Chase Brice, Appalachian State ($8,000); Gavin Hardison, UTEP ($5,900)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Camerun Peoples, Appalachian State ($6,000)
How much stock can we put in the Robert Morris game? Peoples had back-to-back 100-yard games before the Robert Morris game and was out-touching Nate Noel by a large margin. Then came last Saturday and Peoples only got seven touches. I tend to think that it's because App State has a short week and has to play a good Chanticleers team on the road, so they saved Peoples for this one. Hopefully I'm right.
Reynaldo Flores, UTEP ($4,000)
Uh oh...DraftKings screwed up again! Flores was switched to wide receiver early this season and is still listed as – and priced as – a backup running back on DraftKings. Flores has at least three receptions in all but one game this season and has cleared five in three of those. I'll take a guy priced this low with that high of a floor. He hasn't been under six DraftKings points in a game yet.
Also consider: Nate Noel, Appalachian State ($5,800); CJ Beasley, Coastal Carolina ($5,400); Deion Hankins, UTEP ($3,800)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Luke McCaffrey, Rice ($6,600)
Pinckney has disappeared at times this season because the Chanticleers sometimes forget to throw the ball. That's not the case with Rice. They don't run the ball very well, which leaves guys like McCaffrey with a lot of targets. McCaffrey has scored three touchdowns in the last two games to go with his 229 yards. The resurgence of this Rice offense has a lot to do with McCaffrey.
Tyrin Smith, UTEP ($6,000)
Smith is commandeering all of the targets that Jacob Cowing got last year and he is doing almost as much with them. Smith has 27 receptions for 341 yards and three touchdowns over the last four games. That's a giant floor and the Miners have even given him a couple of carries out of the backfield. Receiver is the place to pay up on this slate and we have plenty of value to do so.
Dashaun Davis, Appalachian State ($4,800)
There are a lot of inconsistent numbers in the App State passing game because they run so much, but Davis leads the team in receptions and is very low-priced. You probably get a little more upside out of Christian Horn, but he has disappeared a few times this season, including last game against Georgia State. I'll take the sure floor with Davis.
Also consider: Sam Pinckney, Coastal Carolina ($6,800); Jared Brown, Coastal Carolina ($6,100); Bradley Rozner, Rice ($5,300)
