It has been quite a start to the 2022 college football season. We are starting to learn more about teams and players. One coach has already been fired. And that was after two weeks! We have another two-gamer on Friday night, but they are both conference games and both should be hotly contested.
We begin with Louisville hosting a game this week after beating UCF in the Bounce House last Friday. They get the Seminoles this week in what should be another fun game. We finish it off out in Laramie with Air Force flying up from Colorado Springs to take on the Cowboys.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/16/22 locking at 7:30 pm eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Malik Cunningham, Louisville ($7,500)
Cunningham still hasn't thrown a touchdown this season, but he ran for 121 yards last week against UCF. He has 30 carries on the season and only 51 pass attempts. It's who he is as a player and Louisville is just going to let him play his game. Hey, it worked for Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts at this level and the next. Florida State will likely hold Cunningham under 100 rush yards, but I would expect his passing to pick up a little in this one. Cunningham still has the highest ceiling on the slate and is priced very reasonably.
Haaziq Daniels, Air Force ($6,000)
There is risk here because Air Force has a lot of talented runners on this team, with Daniels being one of them. Daniels has scored twice on the ground to help keep his value, but he has only thrown 11 passes in two games. He only completed one last week. You're basically using Daniels as a "backup" running back for this price, but it seems fair considering he still has 21 carries through two games.
Also consider: Jordan Travis, Florida State ($8,000); Andrew Peasley, Wyoming ($5,400)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Brad Roberts, Air Force ($7,600)
Roberts has piled up 288 yards and four touchdowns in two games. He is the focal point of this Air Force offense. Wyoming has been better against the run than the pass so far, but I believe what I've seen with Roberts. He likely won't have a ceiling game here, but another triple-digit effort with a touchdown seems likely.
Tiyon Evans, Louisville ($5,600)
Evans is playing second fiddle to Cunningham, but he is still looking pretty good doing it. Evans has been active in the passing game as well and has scored a touchdown on the ground in each game. Cunningham caps the ceiling on Evans, but he's still going to be a solid contributor if Louisville has any chance of winning this game.
Also consider: Trey Benson, Florida State ($6,000); Titus Swen, Wyoming ($5,900); John Lee Eldridge, Air Force ($4,900)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Mycah Pittman, Florida State ($6,700)
The Oregon transfer has been the most electric player on the field for the Seminoles even if they can't get him the ball all that often. I get the feeling from watching this team that will change when it needs to. The fact that they have already given Pittman a carry out of the backfield shows that the Seminoles are committed to getting him involved.
Joshua Cobbs, Wyoming ($4,800)
Wyoming doesn't throw often, but when they do, Cobbs is usually on the other end of it. The game against Illinois didn't teach us much, but I'll trust the ten receptions Cobbs has in the last two games. This is not a prolific Wyoming passing offense so that does limit the ceiling on Cobbs. However, the price is low enough on Cobbs that I'll take the free points on receptions alone.
Ontaria Wilson, Florida State ($3,700)
Wilson is no longer Florida State's most talented receiver – that would be Pittman – but he is still the most familiar with this offense and the quarterback. He missed the Duquesne game, but was instrumental in toppling LSU. Wilson is way too cheap for what he is capable of. He should be Florida State's leading receiver once again.
Also consider: Tyler Hudson, Louisville ($7,900); Ahman Huggins-Bruce, Louisville ($5,600); Wyatt Weiland, Wyoming ($4,100); Dane Kinamon, Air Force
