Once again, we have four power conference teams playing on Friday night. I could get used to this, especially with MACtion still months away.
We begin in Miami with the Hokies in town. Washington heads to the East Coast (almost) for a conference game when it makes its way to Piscataway to take on Rutgers.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/27/24, locking at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Cam Ward, Miami (FL)($10K)
Cam Ward through 4 games:
• 1,438 yards
• 14 TDs
• 2 INT
• 2 Turnover Worthy Plays
• Completion %: 70.4%
• PFF Pass grade: 92.5? Resting heart rate: 55 bpm ?? pic.twitter.com/2wQDKaIpGY

Ward faces the defense that just allowed 269 passing yards to Athan Kaliakmanis last week. What do you think Ward is going to do to them? His ceiling is very high tonight.
Will Rogers, Washington ($7.4K)
Rogers is more methodical than dynamic, but the fact that he doesn't make mistakes goes a long way in DFS. This game is a battle of two solid defenses.
When faced with the prospect of having my QB2 come from this game, I'm going with the veteran who doesn't turn the ball over. Rogers is going to put up a solid (but likely unspectacular) stat line, but that might be good enough tonight.
Also consider: Kyron Drones, Virginia Tech ($8K); Athan Kaliakmanis, Rutgers ($6K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Jonah Coleman, Washington ($7.1K)
Coleman's work in the passing game and the plus matchup gives him top billing for me. Even if Rutgers manages to slow him down on the ground, Coleman has 12 receptions in four games. That's an extra three points (or 30 rushing yards) per game. That likely will be enough for Coleman to outscore the rest of the backs on the slate.
Damien Martinez, Miami (FL) ($5.7K)
There have been several productive Miami backs this year, but they haven't played a game that has stayed close yet. A lot has been made of the 91-yard touchdown run by Jordan Lyle last Saturday. Lost in that fact is that Martinez scored three rushing touchdowns of his own.
The Hurricanes have limited the carries for Martinez because they can. They have a surplus of backs and have played from ahead for the entire season. Lyle has likely worked his way up the pecking order and we will likely see him before garbage time (if there is any). However, Martinez is still the main guy.
Also consider: Kyle Monangai, Rutgers ($7.6K); Jordan Lyle, Miami (FL) ($3.7K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Xavier Restrepo, Miami (FL) ($7.5K)

At this point in his career, Restrepo is so much more than just a speedy guy. I think Ward has hit him on this route once in all four games so far. Consider that a token touchdown. Restrepo's route running is top notch and his hands are close to that as well. This year he has a quarterback that can find him.
Isaiah Horton, Miami (FL) ($4.7K)

They are rated the same, but Ward still looks for Restrepo first. Still, we can't ignore Horton's recent production at this stupid low price.
Dymere Miller, Rutgers ($4K)
Washington's weakness is in the passing game. That's why Northwestern struggled. It can't pass. Rutgers is learning and Miller is helping it to stay ahead of the curve. Miller has 14 receptions in three games. His price is way too low!
Also consider: Denzel Boston, Washington ($6.4K); Jaylin Lane, Virginia Tech ($5.5K); Kenny Fletcher, Rutgers ($3.5K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Miami (FL)
The Hurricanes are a hard stack because they are expensive, but if you pair them with the Rutgers passing game, it makes for an intriguing GPP play. You can comfortably fit Ward, Restrepo, and Horton thanks to the Rutgers value.
Rutgers
I wouldn't trust Monangai at that price, but he also makes for an interesting GPP play for that reason. Kaliakmanis, Miller, and Fletcher are a very cheap start to a lineup and could put together a solid game.
Also consider: Washington, Virginia Tech
