We are onto the final day of 2024! It has been a fun season, but now we are winding down. We only have two more of these classic slates after today. This is the largest, so let's enjoy it (those frustrating opt-outs be darned).
We begin in Tampa with the ReliaQuest Bowl between Alabama and Michigan. The afternoon gets going with the Sun Bowl from El Paso between Louisville and Washington. We get the Citrus Bowl from Orlando after that between South Carolina and Illinois. Baylor and LSU finish off the afternoon from Houston in the Texas Bowl. Our final game of 2024 is the Fiesta Bowl from Glendale between Penn State and Boise State.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/31/24, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll give multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower end. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina ($8.5K)
LaNorris Sellers with a November to remember.

408 Rushing Yards
342.8 total ypg

181.8 QB Rating
5-0 with 3 (4) ranked wins— David Watson (@davidwatson249) December 3, 2024
We can go ahead and engrave the 2025 Heisman Trophy right now. The Sellers Heisman campaign begins here. He turned down a larger offer from Auburn to stay home in South Carolina. This is going to be a special team next year and this is a sneak preview of the Gamecocks for 2025. Sellers had at least 36 DraftKings points in four of his five November games. He's a steal!
Sawyer Robertson, Baylor ($8K)
Robertson demolished the dreams of Kansas in the regular-season finale over a month ago. We'll get to see him back in action against an LSU defense that is losing a lot to the portal. The only missing starter is LB Harold Perkins, but many depth pieces off the line are transferring, which could mean fewer fresh bodies to chase Robertson around with.
Teams that got after Robertson had a lot more success against Baylor. Houston and TCU got after him and were the only teams in conference play to hold him under 23 DraftKings points. If LSU can't get after him as much, Robertson could be in for another one of those games in the 30s.
Demond Williams Jr., Washington ($5.6K)
Williams completed 17-of-20 passes in his first career start against a solid Oregon defense. On top of that, he didn't turn the ball over. The true freshman has had a month to practice with the first team leading up to this game. He's the guy most likely to go above and beyond his price point.
Also consider: Garrett Nussmeier, LSU ($9.1K); Drew Allar, Penn State ($8.1K); Harrison Bailey, Louisville ($5.2K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Bryson Washington, Baylor ($8.5K)
Baylor - WVU first watch for me in this thread.
You cannot overstate the value of Bryson Washington. Early in the season this was a 0 or 1 yard gain.
I'd bet a lot that his yards after contact per rush is one of the highest in the Big 12.
This is where you're just completely… pic.twitter.com/u7p4DE3wIP
— Travis Roeder (@Travis_Roeder) November 17, 2024
Mr. Roeder was right in his analysis. Washington followed up his 123 yards (and three touchdowns) against West Virginia with 113 against Houston and 192 against Kansas. Washington closed the season with four consecutive 100-yard games with nine touchdowns in those games. LSU is going to have the same big problem with Washington.
Isaac Brown, Louisville ($7.1K)
This is not last year's Washington defense. The Huskies allowed more than 150 rushing yards in eight of the 12 games (including FCS Weber State) this season. Last year, Washington only allowed 150 five times in 14 games, including both playoff games. We will see a run-heavy Louisville offense with a first-time starter under center. We could see a huge game from Brown.
Oscar Adaway III, South Carolina ($3.4K)
Raheim Sanders is opting out for the Gamecocks, but Adaway was a beast at North Texas for the last couple of seasons. He can (and will) handle a heavy load here today. Adaway is the best bargain on this entire slate. I would much rather run with him than take a chance on the leftovers of the Michigan backfield.
Also consider: Ashton Jeanty, Boise State ($10.9K); Caden Durham, LSU ($6.3K); Jordan Marshall, Michigan ($5.5K); Dawson Pendergrass, Baylor ($3.8K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Tyler Warren, Penn State ($7.5K)
The 2024 John Mackey award winner is Tyler Warren of Penn State! pic.twitter.com/gUKztmeQxS
— College Football Live (@CollegeFBonX) December 13, 2024
Warren was outshined by Harold Fannin Jr. in bowl games so far, but Warren is still going. Besides, it was cold and windy in State College for the first playoff game. Penn State didn't need to throw much to win that game. It may need to be in this one.
Josh Cameron, Baylor ($5K)
Cameron turned in two big games out of the last three for Baylor. The Bears won six straight to close the season and Cameron was a big part of that down the stretch. He's the most consistent Baylor receiver right now. Monaray Baldwin is the home run threat.
Chris Bell, Louisville ($4.8K)
Ja'Corey Brooks has opted out of this game, which shouldn't be much of a surprise. With an unproven player at quarterback, Brooks likely wouldn't get much of a chance to show his true talents anyway. That's going to leave a lot of targets for Bell and Caullin Lacy.
Also consider: Ryan Williams, Alabama ($6.7K); Giles Jackson, Washington ($6.1K); Cam Camper, Boise State ($4.6K); Germie Bernard, Alabama ($4K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Louisville
Harrison Bailey is an unknown, so you can leave him off if you want. However, we know exactly what we are getting with Brown and Bell. LSU transfer Caullin Lacy has already announced that he will be back in 2025 after missing much of this season. He is available in this game if you want to get creative. He might end up not playing, though.
Also consider: Alabama, South Carolina
