Our first bowl games happen on the same weekend as the annual Army-Navy game. That gives us a little more variety than just the showdown slates. Bowl season now runs for a little over a month. That's going to take some getting used to, and not in a bad way.
The first game is still the Army-Navy game. It's in Landover, Md., for the first time since 2011. I still wish they would have these games on campus at least once every five years or so. We close it out with the first bowl of bowl season. It's the Salute to Veterans Bowl from Montgomery, Ala., between Western Michigan and South Alabama.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/14/24, locking at 3:30 p.m. Eastern. I’ll give multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Blake Horvath, Navy ($8.6K)
QB Blake Horvath says he's "all good" and expects to play Saturday vs. Army.

Saying that Horvath and Bryson Daily are the same player is almost an insult to both of them. Horvath is a better passer. Daily runs more. Navy took it easier on Horvath down the stretch and might here as well to save his back and ribs.
The upside on both is equally high, but this is almost always a low-scoring game. Daily isn't going to score an absurd number of touchdowns in this game. For that reason, I'm taking the discount with Horvath. Daily will put up better numbers, but not $2.2K better.
Gio Lopez ($8K)/Bishop Davenport ($7.8K), South Alabama
Gio Lopez will play for the Jaguars in 2025, but we don't know if he'll play for them today. South Alabama has been purposely vague about his availability. I've seen a couple of reports that he's out and a couple that he's playing. Keep an eye on this leading up to the game. I want whichever quarterback starts. Both have the potential for a ceiling game.
Also consider: Bryson Daily, Army ($10.8K); Hayden Wolff, Western Michigan ($6K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Kanye Udoh, Army ($6.1K)
I expect a defensive struggle, and Udoh has been logging a lot of carries lately. That's the good part. Daily won't poach as many touchdowns because there won't be as many to poach. We will see upward of 50 run plays on both sides in this game. It's the day of the running back (and running quarterbacks) in DFS.
Eli Heidenreich, Navy ($5.8K)
Heidenreich doesn't get the volume that Udoh does, but he is also Navy's leading receiver. Heidenreich has 36 receptions on the season. The next closest receiver has 15. That's about three extra points per game for Heidenreich, not counting the yards. Which, by the way, is 597. The next closest has just 227 yards.
Also consider: Jalen Buckley, Western Michigan ($6.5K); Kentrel Bullock, South Alabama ($4.9K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Jamaal Pritchett, South Alabama ($7.9K)
The FunBeltNation Wide Receiver of the Year: Jamaal Pritchett!
A former walk-on, Pritchett was a key piece in the Jag's explosive offense. He was dominant all year long, but especially later in the year. He finished the regular season with 1127 yards and 9 touchdowns. pic.twitter.com/Z3CfaktCE2
— Fun Belt Nation (@FunBeltNation) December 4, 2024
It doesn't matter who is throwing the passes for the Jaguars, Pritchett is catching them. He tallied 52 receptions over the last five games of the season. That's a 10-point base with no yards or touchdowns included. Pritchett is the only sure thing at receiver on this slate.
Kenneth Womack, Western Michigan ($6K)
Blake Bosma has entered the transfer portal and Anthony Sambucci may be out again. That should mean more targets for Womack in a game where Western Michigan will likely be behind. There's potential here.
Devin Voisin, South Alabama ($3.4K)
Voisin caught 16 passes in the first four games of the season before Pritchett broke out. He is now back in favor with 12 receptions in the last four games. He only has 31 on the season. There's not a lot to go around behind Pritchett, but Voisin has made the most of it.
Also consider: Anthony Sambucci, Western Michigan ($5.1K); Casey Reynolds, Army ($3.8K); Chris Toudle, Western Michigan ($3.5K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
South Alabama
Western Michigan might be the worst bowl team. I want whoever starts at QB, Bullock since Fluff Bothwell is out, and the duo of Pritchett and Voisin. If you want to get creative, Braylon McReynolds should see the carries that Bullock usually gets.
Also consider: Navy, Army
