We are still in the first third of the 50 best days of the year for any football fan. October 8 marked day one of 50 consecutive days of either FBS or NFL football. What a time to be alive! For all of the evil things the Mouse does, one thing that is right about all of this is ESPN gobbling up the TV rights to Conference USA, the Fun Belt, and the MAC. The ESPN money may have destroyed the Pac-12, but it also gave us this.
Last week our Thursday didn't include any Power Five teams. This week we get Syracuse heading down to Blacksburg. While the other tilt isn't a Power Five one, it's even better. We get some Modern Day Hate from Statesboro. This is going to be a great two games!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/26/23, locking at 7:30 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Darren Grainger, Georgia State ($7,100)
The Panthers aren't just underestimated in betting circles. They seem to be in DFS as well. Grainger is efficient through the air and can make plays on the ground. The Eagles aren't terrible against the pass, but they aren't great either. They are the worst on the slate, which makes Grainger my favorite option. The Hokies could lock down Syracuse, so I'm not paying up.
Kyron Drones, Virginia Tech ($6,400)
Drones just keeps putting up strong numbers. On top of that, he hasn't committed a turnover in nearly a month and hasn't thrown an interception since Week 3. Add to that the free points from the significant rushing yardage (344 yards in seven games) and you have the safest floor on the slate. Syracuse has fallen on hard times of late. It's only going to get harder in Blacksburg.
Also consider: Garrett Shrader, Syracuse ($7,400); Davis Brin, Georgia Southern ($6,900)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Marcus Carroll, Georgia State ($7,000)
Carroll has eclipsed 100 yards in three of his last four games, going over 150 in two of those. The only game that he missed was against Troy, but Carroll still put up 75 yards and a touchdown. Add in the eight receptions for 131 yards in those four games and that's a lot of extra points in the passing game as well. Expect another big game from Carroll here.
Jalen White, Georgia Southern ($6,200)
I wasn't going to mess with this backfield until White outcarried OJ Arnold by 21 and caught three passes last week against Monroe. Georgia State is going to offer more resistance, but that was a massive workload for White. I tell you all the time that volume is king. White might have the most volume of any player on the slate.
Also consider: LeQuint Allen, Syracuse ($6,600); Bhayshul Tuten, Virginia Tech ($5,500)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Khaleb Hood, Georgia Southern ($6,000)
Therea are a couple of receivers with more upside on the slate, but no one can come close to the volume of Hood. He has 30 receptions in the last three games alone with 307 yards and a touchdown. The lone touchdown stands out, but with 30 receptions, I'll view that as the anomaly that it is. The touchdowns will come.
Robert Lewis, Georgia State ($5,500)
Lewis is the volume guy. Tailique Williams is more boom-or-bust. Lewis has at least four receptions in every FBS game that the Panthers have played. Both Louisiana and Marshall held Lewis in check, but the volume was still there. There is a Goergia State receiver to match whatever type of lineup that you're trying to build.
Da'Quan Felton, Virginia Tech ($5,100)
Ali Jennings is still out for the Hokies, so Felton will be across the formation from Jaylin Lane once again. A couple of other Tech receivers have cut in on Felton's action in recent weeks, but I still trust the volume on Felton. No one else aside from Lane has matched the consistency of Felton.
Also consider: Derwin Burgess, Georgia Southern ($6,400); Jaylin Lane, Virginia Tech ($5,800); Stephen Gosnell, Virginia Tech ($4,600)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Georgia State
The only reason that I prefer State over Southern is quarterback. I feel comfortable using Darren Grainger and have used him on every slate I can. Davis Brin is a completely different story. I also like Marcus Carroll over White. The receivers are a little better on the Southern side, but I like what I've seen from Lewis and Ahmon Green.
Also consider: Georgia Southern, Virginia Tech
