Well, how about this action? We have a nice three-game Tuesday night slate with the Fun Belt and Conference USA. On behalf of college football fans everywhere, I thank you (and ESPN for dangling the dollars out there) for giving us college football five nights a week! Never mind that the three teams have a combined 7-27 record in 2024.
We begin in Mobile with a nice regional battle with Troy heading down to play the Jags. Next up is Kennesaw State heading up to Murfreesboro to take on Middle Tennessee State. We end in the New Mexico desert with Louisiana Tech making the trip over to take on the Aggies.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/15/24, locking at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

College Football Betting Picks - October 15
Since we have DFS slates this week and not just single-game showdowns, I'll go ahead and add the betting picks here instead of posting them on X. It's one-stop shopping this week!
Troy at South Alabama (-13.5)
Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 2
This line is off the board in most Vegas casinos, but DK and FD both carry it. I like the line for under two touchdowns. Troy's defense is solid, but I'll say the Jags pull away and cover late.
Kennesaw State at Middle Tennessee State (-9.5)
Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 3
I know that the Blue Raiders are struggling, but the Owls are 1-4 against the spread in their first FBS season and 0-5 overall (that's right kids...they lost to FCS Tennessee-Martin). Give me MTSU.
Louisiana Tech (-11.5) at New Mexico State
Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 3
I don't care that this is a road game for the Bulldogs. The Aggies lost to Sam Houston by 20 a couple of weeks ago and were just pounded by Jacksonville State. Give me the Bulldogs.
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Gio Lopez, South Alabama ($8.9K)
South Alabama could seriously compete for the Sun Belt title in Major Applewhite’s first year because Gio Lopez is for real. One of the best players in the G5. pic.twitter.com/h4aJbZenkg
— Bobby Football (@Rob__Paul) September 20, 2024
I like using a dual threat like Lopez at quarterback because they can have a strong DFS line even without a lot of points being scored in the game. For example, South Alabama has only scored 26 points in the last two games. Lopez still put up 38.22 DraftKings points. The matchup with Troy isn't an easy one, but I'll trust Lopez in cash games thanks to the rushing upside.
Evan Bullock, Louisiana Tech ($6.3K)
Bullock was outstanding against Middle Tennessee State last week. He threw for 290 yards and five touchdowns while adding a rushing score. The ceiling won't be that high every game, but he could come close to that against a staggering New Mexico State defense. I wouldn't be shocked if Bullock outscored every other quarterback tonight.
Also consider: Nicholas Vattiato, Middle Tennessee State ($8.2K); Davis Bryson, Kennesaw State ($5.3K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Damien Taylor, Troy ($6.4K)
Troy, at its core, is still a team that revolves around a powerful run game despite Kimani Vidal not being there. Taylor gets around 70% of the carries for the Trojans. With a youngster at quarterback in his second start, expect Troy to be busy on the ground against a South Alabama team that has allowed 202.3 rushing yards per game this season.
Kentrel Bullock, South Alabama ($5.3K)
It is a true timeshare between Bullock and Fluff Bothwell in the South Alabama backfield now. I'll take the discount with Bullock. Bothwell is still a good option, but Bullock has seen as many or more touches than Bothwell since his breakout game against Appalachian State. The Jaguars are trusting the veteran Bullock a little more right now.
Also consider: Frank Peasant, Middle Tennessee State ($5.4K); Qua Ashley, Kennesaw State ($4.4K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Jamaal Pritchett, South Alabama ($7.6K)
Jamaal Pritchett of South Alabama is first in the FBS with 196 total punt return yards and 24.5 yards per punt return.
He's also in the top 5 with 6 receiving TDs and is in the top 20 with 36 catches and 532 receiving yards.

Ah...if we could only count punt returns as well. Pritchett has returned one for a touchdown already this season, so we could see an extra touchdown come from that. Pritchett has at least six receptions in the four competitive games that South Alabama has played. We'll see him in a prominent role again tonight.
Omari Kelly, Middle Tennessee State ($6.4K)
The thing I love about the transfer portal is how it allows kids an opportunity to shine.
In two years at #Auburn, Omari Kelly had 5 catches for 101 yards and no TDs.
In 5 games with @MT_FB, the former four-star has 24 receptions, 471 yards and 3 TDs!
Currently on pace for 58… pic.twitter.com/HZgVAdBnYj
— Conner Smith (@connersmith04) October 3, 2024
Kelly added to that with 103 yards on eight receptions against Louisiana Tech. I do worry about volume here since the Blue Raiders are heavy favorites. Kelly may not make it a third consecutive 100-yard game, but I like him for at least a dozen DraftKings points tonight.
Tru Edwards, Louisiana Tech ($5.2K)
Edwards has picked up his game with Bullock throwing to him. He piled up 127 yards and a touchdown against Middle Tennessee last week. This New Mexico State defense is at least as bad, if not worse. I will have at least one lineup with Edwards and Bullock in it.
Also consider: Devonte Ross, Troy ($7K); Holden Willis, Middle Tennessee State ($6K); Cam'ron Lacy, Middle Tennessee State ($3.4K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Louisiana Tech
The Bullock to Edwards connection is one that you can use in any lineup. If you're looking to add to that, Omiri Wiggins did work out of the backfield last week. Even if Donerio Davenport returns, Wiggins did more than enough to take his job. Marlion Jackson is the other receiver to target alongside Edwards.
Middle Tennessee State
If I do run a MTSU stack, it will most likely be limited to Nick Vattiato, Omari Kelly, and Willis. Frank Peasant will play for the first time since Week 2, but the Blue Raiders haven't been forthcoming about whether he is going to take the starting job back from Jaiden Credle or not. Both are worth a look in this matchup, but they'll likely siphon production off the other.
Also consider: South Alabama, Kennesaw State
