We have a busier three-game slate on Thursday this week. Conference USA joins the Fun Belt for some mid-week games. All of them start within 30 minutes of each other, so it's a fast and furious slate!
We start in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with Coastal Carolina heading up to take on the Dukes. Middle Tennessee State makes the trip to Ruston to take on Louisiana Tech. We end in Bowling Green with UTEP taking on Western Kentucky.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/10/24, locking at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Alonza Barnett III, James Madison ($9.2K)
Barrett was held in check against Monroe and has rushed for 50 yards in every FBS game. It was a far cry from the Ball State and North Carolina games, where Barnett threw for 10 touchdowns and ran for three more. Barnett will get back to his video game numbers here.
Evan Bullock, Louisiana Tech ($6K)
#LATech depth chart vs Middle Tennessee:
- Evan Bullock listed as starting QB for 2nd straight week
- Omiri Wiggins now listed as RB1 pic.twitter.com/rerzKhliwk— Matt Belinson (@BelinsonMatt) October 8, 2024
Bullock got his first start against FIU before the bye. He was serviceable but nothing special. The playbook for Bullock was purposely vanilla, but he was a lot better than Jack Turner. The job is his, and he's had almost two weeks of practice with the first team. I expect a much better game out of Bullock here.
Also consider: Caden Veltkamp, Western Kentucky ($7.9K); Cade McConnell, UTEP ($5.8K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Elijah Young, Western Kentucky ($6.4K)
The Hilltoppers aren't much of a running team, but they have switched to the ground a little more with T.J. Finley out. Young carried 21 times in the near upset of Boston College. The good news is that UTEP has allowed 1,187 rushing yards in just five games, with at least two rushing touchdowns allowed in every game. There is a lot of potential here.
Ezell Jolly, UTEP ($4.2K)
The Miners are going nowhere slow and are just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. Jolly piled up 76 yards and scored a touchdown in the loss against Sam Houston. That's plenty of production in this price range.
Also consider: George Pettaway, James Madison ($5.9K); Braydon Bennett, Coastal Carolina ($5K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Kisean Johnson, Western Kentucky ($6.9K)

Johnson has slowed down a little bit since, thanks to the tougher defenses of Toledo and Boston College. It should be back to the high-flying acrobatics again with UTEP coming to town. Johnson has at least six receptions in all but the opener against Alabama.
Omari Kelly, Middle Tennessee State ($5.4K)
The thing I love about the transfer portal is how it allows kids an opportunity to shine.
In two years at #Auburn, Omari Kelly had 5 catches for 101 yards and no TDs.
In 5 games with @MT_FB, the former four-star has 24 receptions, 471 yards and 3 TDs!

Kelly exploded for 174 yards against Memphis, even though he didn't score a touchdown. Expect at least one of those to find the end zone against Louisiana Tech. Kelly has 19 receptions over the last three games. Buy this stock. He's way too cheap tonight.
Tru Edwards, Louisiana Tech ($5.2K)
Edwards caught eight passes from Evan Bullock in his first start. He didn't rack up a lot of yards, but that's a hell of a floor if he's going to catch eight or more passes per game!
Also consider: Kenny Odom, UTEP ($6K); Omarion Dollison, James Madison ($4.9K); Easton Messer, Western Kentucky ($4K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Western Kentucky
You can stack everything against UTEP. They won't mind. Veltkamp and Kisean Johnson are the easy ones, but I like Elijah Young's higher workload as well. You could differentiate yourself by adding Easton Messer to the stack. Messer is cheap but has at least three receptions in every game.
James Madison
This is more a reflection of the offense than the defense they are playing. JMU is explosive, and that starts with Barnett. Taylor Thompson sees a lot of targets, but Omarion Dollison has the game-breaking ability that we covet in GPPs. This is a good matchup for George Pettaway as well.
Also consider: UTEP, Middle Tennessee State
