DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 2/19/22 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

TyTy Washington Jr. CBB DFS lineup picks NCAA daily fantasy college basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 2/19/22. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have another big slate with 12 games on the main slate today. With the NBA being on the break, DraftKings decided to expand the tournaments a little. It's about time! The $1 one has been filling up plenty fast enough and promises to again today. We get started at noon eastern with Michigan State hosting Illinois, Baylor hosting TCU, and UConn bringing in Xavier. A half hour later we have Texas hosting Texas Tech.

The afternoon gets started with Alabama heading to Rupp Arena. We also have Wake hosting the Irish at the same time. 2pm brings Auburn to Florida, Iowa State hosts Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State hosts Kansas State. Iowa heads to Columbus a half hour after that. Another half hour later, Louisville hosts Clemson. We close out the main slate with South Carolina hosting LSU.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/19/22 starting at noon Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Nijel Pack, Kansas State ($8,400)

After a slower start to the conference season, Pack has a streak of six straight games over 32 DraftKings points in the toughest defensive conference in the country. He put up 35.75 in the first meeting against Oklahoma State, a game that stayed close throughout. His strong rebound and assist numbers given him a high floor even if he isn't scoring as much with Markquis Nowell back. Nowell is more scoring dependent, so I'm looking to Pack first. I would even look to Mark Smith before Nowell right now.

James Akinjo, Baylor ($7,400)

A monumentally bad game against Kansas – in which he was held scoreless in 25 minutes (on 0-for-11 shooting) – is still stifling Akinjo's price even though it was two weeks ago. I'll take it! Akinjo has been over 30 DraftKings points in all three games since. On top of that, he had a ceiling game against TCU earlier this year when he racked up 42.5 DraftKings points. Akinjo might be my favorite play on the entire slate when taking pricing into consideration.

Jordan Goldwire, Oklahoma ($6,100)

The Duke transfer took a bit to get going in Norman, but he has become the scorer that Oklahoma thought they were going to get after he transferred out of Durham to become more of a scorer. Goldwire has 85 points in the last six games along with his trademark defense and good passing. The first game against Iowa State was a disaster for Goldwire. However, I'm willing to give it another shot because of his recent hot streak and minimal price increase in that span.

Davion Mintz, Kentucky ($5,100)

It looks like TyTy Washington is going to be watching the festivities from the bench again for the near future, so that means Mintz should get back into the starting lineup. Kellan Grady didn't see much of an uptick in usage with Washington out and Mintz was kind of inconsistent, so there is risk involved here. However, Mintz put up a solid 14.5 DraftKings points in just 19 minutes against Alabama the first time around. This game is going to speed up Kentucky, which should help the overall stats. This is a good game environment, especially for Kentucky.

Courtney Ramey, Texas ($4,300)

This is a reasonable price for the veteran. He's not much of a shooter and foul trouble hurt him against Oklahoma, but he did scrabble together 19 DraftKings points against Texas Tech in the first meeting. Ramey spends a lot of minutes on the court in most games. He can't help but hit value at this price. He just doesn't have much of a ceiling.

Also consider: Alondes Williams, Wake Forest ($9,300); Izaiah Brockington, Iowa State ($8,100); Paul Scruggs, Xavier ($7,200); Dane Goodwin, Notre Dame ($6,800); Avery Anderson III, Oklahoma State ($6,200); Jamari Wheeler, Ohio State ($5,500); Adonis Arms, Texas Tech ($5,000)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($9,800)

Fade him at your own risk. Tshiebwe has at least a dozen rebounds in every game since the restart. He has posted seven consecutive double-doubles with at least 38 DraftKings points in all of those. He has eight games of more than 50 DraftKings points this year. Don't expect that against Alabama, but 40 seems likely. He put up 40.25 DraftKings points in the first game against the Tide despite a poor 31% shooting. Tshiebwe remains the most sure thing out there.

Colin Castelton, Florida ($8,600)

Forward is absolutely loaded on the main slate. We should be thankful that Jaylin Williams and Paolo Banchero aren't on here as well! We need to be picky about who we spend on because it's easy to go broke chasing all of these high-dollar guys at the position. Castleton thrives in physical games, which is what the rematch against Auburn should be. He racked up 42 DraftKings points against the Tigers the first time around in 33 minutes. He should at least flirt with 40 again.

PJ Hall, Clemson ($8,200)

Yep....loaded. Hall is the ninth-highest priced forward on the slate but he has at least 32 DraftKings points in six of the last eight games. Only Duke and Florida State held him under that mark. Louisville doesn't have much of a presence up front, so I expect Hall to put up some more big numbers here. Louisville isn't a good enough rebounding team to keep him off the glass.

Christian Bishop, Texas ($5,300)

It took the Creighton transfer a while to fit into this Texas team, but he has been on a tear lately aside from fouling out against Texas in just 16 minutes a couple of weeks ago. Bishop put up 23.5 DraftKings points in just 17 minutes against Texas Tech in the first meeting, a game in which Bishop sat for a while because of foul trouble. When he can keep his hands to himself, he is approaching 30 minutes per game. Think of what he could do to Tech in 30 minutes of court time!

Zed Key, Ohio State ($4,500)

Iowa is a very strong team, but they don't have a lot of size up front. A strong defender and rebounder like Key can give them all sorts of issues. Iowa shoots a lot of shots from distance, so Key's rebounding skills are going to come up bigger here than usual. I like him a lot of this price range, even though his ceiling is as limited as his offensive skills.

Also consider: Keegan Murray, Iowa ($9,900); Tari Eason, LSU ($8,300); Jack Nunge, Xavier ($7,600); Jeremy Sochan, Baylor ($6,200); Keyshawn Bryant, South Carolina ($5,400); Eddie Lampkin, TCU ($5,200); Charles Bediako, Alabama ($4,900)
